Aristotle proclaims, “every art and every method…seems to aim at some
good: hence it has been well said the good is that at which all things
aim…” (Nicomachean Ethics I.1/ Bekker 1094a). The manner to aim at
the good is the ethics. Cyr. Katsimanis says, ethics “…is what to do…”,
to aim the good. Ethics in my opinion is method and art with its various
forms to aim the good.
This work aims to present of the beneficial effects from the faultless use
of energy and the harmful effects from the evil use of energy, by the
method of textual criticism of relative bibliography. To bear in mind, the
ethics presupposes voluntary action. In the first case as beneficial effects
are the nutrition of organisms, the pleasure of every comfort, the
increased possibilities for health, the better transport and education, the
easier labour and job and many other facilities. In the second case, on
harmful effects by evil or fault and wrong use, there are the various
damages and catastrophes in accidents and wars as chemical, nuclear,
nutritional, biological, commercial and many other forms, always by
voluntary action. The means of ethics could be the religion, the logic, the
respect of human rights.
Concluding, it is clear the ethics is necessary to manage the energy for the
good living of the human and every other organism.
