The primary objective of this training is to provide women in the region with essential knowledge about the FinTech industry and raise awareness about the opportunities and challenges within the sector. It aims to empower women by equipping them with the necessary skills and insights to actively participate and thrive in the rapidly evolving world of FinTech.
With the objective of empowering women and advocating for their rights, this training program is specifically designed to support the skills development of the first cohort of women in FinTech trainers (WFT). These trainers will play a crucial role in enhancing the capacity of their peers in various associations within the South Med Region, enabling women to actively and effectively participate in shaping an inclusive ecosystem.
The training covers the following:
1- FinTech industry history and evolution.
2- FinTech services and products.
3- Economic utility of the FinTech industry for both users and investors.
4- Fintech’s management and risks.
5- Women in FinTech challenges and opportunities.
6- Gender transformative approaches toward inclusiveness
6 Modules are developed with case studies and further reading, each module invites a guest speaker from policymakers in the Euro-Med Region and/or expert in the field, women participation is prioritised as the training seeks to highlight women role model in the FinTech industry.
