... Modern, environmentally friendly textile materials can enhance selected design solutions that meet high aesthetic properties and requirements. Therefore, when creating clothing, it is necessary to use new scientific achievements when choosing methods for processing raw textile materials [5][6][7][8][9][10], methods for the calculation of different garment types patterns [11,12], using digital tools for calculating indicators of material properties [13], and the sewing techniques of garment manufacturing [14]. The problems of processing industrial hemp into spinning fibre have been raised by researchers who have used mechanical cottonization methods and ultrasonic cavitation to increase the degree of decomposition of complex hemp fibres. ...
Article
The production of competitive textile products can be ensured by using natural, environmentally friendly fibres, which include hemp fibre, as raw materials. To expand the possibility of its use, an essential operation is the pre-treatment of the fibre. The use of electric pulse processing of hemp fibre will provide the ability to control the depth of cottonization, select optimal parameters that collectively evaluate the spinning ability of the fibre and correspond to the permissible similar indicators of cotton fibre. The purpose of the work done is to study the mechanism of electric pulse processing of hemp fibre by identifying its structural characteristics under various processing modes for further use. The work carried out studies of the process of cottonization of hemp fibre by a physical-mechanical method using an electric pulse discharge from 500 to 2500 cycles. An effective mode of electric pulse processing of fibres has been established, amounting to 2500 pulses of electric discharges, which makes it possible to obtain cottonized hemp fibre with the required spinning ability. The parameters of cottonized hemp fibre have been determined, allowing the use of hemp cottonin to produce mixed yarn using a card spinning system on cotton spinning equipment.

This paper is a critical meta-analysis of mobile learning research based on qualitative descriptions of meta-analyses of m-learning research studies published between 2009 and 2013. The study covered in this paper looks at the conceptual frameworks and theories underpinning mobile learning research studies, the global experiences of using mobile digital devices for learning, and the factors enhancing or hindering the acceptance and use of mobile digital devices for learning in higher education. The study concludes that without reference to theoretical and pedagogical issues, including the design of m-learning, studies of m-learning will not necessarily further our understanding of how m-learning can contribute to successful learning outcomes globally.

Mobile learning is a relatively new phenomenon and the theoretical basis is currently under development. The paper presents a pedagogical perspective of mobile learning which highlights three central features of mobile learning: authenticity, collaboration and personalisation, embedded in the unique timespace contexts of mobile learning. A pedagogical framework was developed and tested through activities in two mobile learning projects located in teacher education communities: Mobagogy, a project in which faculty staff in an Australian university developed understanding of mobile learning; and The Bird in the Hand Project, which explored the use of smartphones by student teachers and their mentors in the United Kingdom. The framework is used to critique the pedagogy in a selection of reported mobile learning scenarios, enabling an assessment of mobile activities and pedagogical approaches, and consideration of their contributions to learning from a socio-cultural perspective.

There is a rapid increase in adoption of mobile technology for language teaching and learning. Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) provides easy access for any learner without the constraints of both place and time. In Mobile Learning, devices like smartphones, iPod, tablet, laptop, iPad are implemented to scaffold language learning. Numerous apps are developed and utilized for those who learn English as a second language. This paper focuses on the classification of mobile apps based on primary, secondary and tertiary learners. Reviewed articles and dissertations were concentrating on implementation, analysis, evaluation of the mobile apps for language learning. These studies also discussed the design, method, theory and pedagogical features that underpin the current mobile apps. Since these apps are developed to enhance the language skills of the learners, emphasis should be primarily made on the acquisition of language skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through mobile technology. Thus the finding shows that listening skills are better acquired through apps more than that of other language skills.

This study investigated the current state of college students' perceptions toward mobile learning in higher education. Mobile learning is a new form of learning utilizing the unique capabilities of mobile devices. Although mobile devices are ubiquitous on college campuses, student readiness for mobile learning has yet to be fully explored in the United States. The paper describes a conceptual model, based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB), which explains how college students' beliefs influence their intention to adopt mobile devices in their coursework. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze self-report data from 177 college students. The findings showed that the TPB explained college students' acceptance of m-learning reasonably well. More specifically, attitude, subjective norm, and behavioral control positively influenced their intention to adopt mobile learning. The results provide valuable implications for ways to increase college students' acceptance of mobile learning.
