INFRARES Towards resilient transportation infrastructure in a multi-hazard environment
Webpage: https://www.infrares.gr/
Funding: Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI)
A methodology has been developed within
INFRARES project for the resilience
assessment of bridges and tunnels of road
networks under various single or multiple
hazard scenarios, which consists of four
steps, i.e.:
✓Step 1: identification hazard scenarios
✓Step 2: fragility analysis
✓Step 3: functionality evaluation
✓Step 4: resilience quantification –
introduction of a resilience index
Is it possible to quantify the resilience of bridges and tunnels against natural hazards?
