Research Project INFRARES - Newsletter #13 / October 2023
INFRARES Towards resilient transportation infrastructure in a multi-hazard environment
Webpage: https://www.infrares.gr/
Funding: Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI)
The aftermath of recent floods in Thessaly dramatically
highlighted the vulnerability of our infrastructure and
society to natural hazards.
Effective measures that will enhance resilience of
modern societies against natural hazards are more
timely than ever.
An analytical framework for resilience assessment of
bridges subjected to flood hazard effects has been
developed in the frame of research project INFRARES.
