✓The aftermath of recent floods in Thessaly dramatically
highlighted the vulnerability of our infrastructure and
society to natural hazards.
✓Effective measures that will enhance resilience of
modern societies against natural hazards are more
timely than ever.
✓An analytical framework for resilience assessment of
bridges subjected to flood hazard effects has been
developed in the frame of research project INFRARES.
