GIS DIVERS: SCIENCE-CITIZENS COLLABORATION FOR A RESTORED AND WELL-MAPPED MPA is a contribution provided in the framework of Challenge 1 (Protecting and restoring marine and freshwater biodiversity) of the Open Sea Lab 3.0 Virtual Edition held on April 2023. I acted in the role of team-leader and this work has been conceived with reference to a real case study and on the basis on some preliminary data obtained within the boundaries of Tavolara MPA during the summer season 2022.

The Global Virtual Conference on Climate Change is an annual flagship conference designed according to International conference policies where all the attendees will be able to acquire things at the finest. I contributed with an overview of my latest research contribution related to restoration and climate change in different contexts both in marine and freshwater environments.

WeKEO HACKATHON 2023- Ghost Sensers Solution

This is the outcome of our teamwork contribution which has been developed during the WeKEO Hackathon held on 22-23 June 2023. The solution is focused on the Challenge n. 2 of the Hackathon and is aimed at a not expert public to develop a solution to better integrate conservation priorities and Blue Growth needs in the Arctic region. At the end of the Hackathon we developed an App prototype.
