Influence of Using Interactive Video on Development the Skillful Achievements for
Refereeing in Football

Abstract:
The research aims at getting acquainted with the effect of using Interactive Video on
Development the Skillful Achievements for Refereeing in Football. The research was
conducted on a sample of third-year students in Paytakht Private institute of Physical
Education, Erbil. The research included two groups: an experimental group taught by
using the Interactive Video and a control group taught by using the traditional one. The
number of each group was a (16) student.
and the sample of research represented (80%) of the entire research society.
The researcher was set instrument which the an observation sheet including four
sections to measure and evaluate the aspects of refereeing and to decide on them. And,
its apparent validity was approved by a number of experts.
As for research items, they included.
trapping, dribbling and control in football. The researcher conducted equivalence
between the two groups in regard to the number of variants that could affect the study
results. The researcher treated his data statistically throughout using T- test for both, the
independent samples and correlated ones.
The researchers were reached to a number of conclusions, the most important one is the
following: In Development the Skillful Achievements for Refereeing in Football, the
experimental group, which was taught by using the Interactive Video manner exceeded
the control group, which was taught by using the traditional one.
The researchers recommended that :
there should be a necessity of using the Interactive Video manner as it was proved to be
better than the traditional one in teaching the Skillful Achievements for Refereeing in
Football.
the necessity of using the interactive video in the process of teaching through teaching
the other subjects, Doing similar researches and studies for the other stages and subjet
as well.
