One of the most effective strategies for changing the whole country into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy is education. Education and technology are intertwined, and technology plays a critical role in delivering education under challenging situations, such as the Covid-19 issue. People have been compelled to remain inside due to the worldwide Covid-19 virus pandemic and the government's following lockdowns to contain the situation, which has significantly affected the education sector. Learning has risen to new heights thanks to ICT in educational institutions. Even though students from various backgrounds, particularly those from the economically disadvantaged, face numerous challenges in continuing their education with the help of the online education system, educational institutions worldwide are doing their best to address the situation using information and communication technology. The National Education Policy – 2020, if implemented correctly, can alter the Indian educational system and bring about significant improvements. The fundamental goal of the National Education Policy – 2020 is to close the gap in the current education system, which is completely automated and enhances students' cramming strength but limits their independent thinking ability. Switching from rote to activity-based or experiential learning will increase the learners' learning experience by providing hands-on training opportunities. It will allow the development of scientific temperament in young students.
