Pancasila as the Foundation of Political Ethics in Indonesia, Case Study of the Struggle for the Chairman of a Political Party in Indonesia

Abstract

The world of politics is becoming something interesting to discuss. Every time there's something new going on. There is no eternal enmity or eternal friend in politics, but the infinite is only essential (read: power struggle). At some point, a person could be a friend, but other times he could be the enemy. It's still fresh in all of us how frenetic the last presidential election we held yesterday. The frictions have felt very hot, so people are wary from mutual claims of victory, to each other's accusations of cheating, to the last in the Constitutional Court. However, after that, it continued on social media for months. This feud resulted in two terms that are very viral in Indonesia, namely cebong and kampret. This is an accumulation of fanaticism of both sides' supporters (“Tidak Ada Musuh Atau Teman Abadi Di Dalam Politik – IndependensI,” n.d.). This article was written to give a clearer picture of the politics in Indonesia. So there is a difference between politics in Indonesia and other countries. The political system of a different government, including various cultural roots, will give its characteristics. Research through literature and various other readings and discussions conducted in the classroom and multiple seminars. Also, based on the development of the current political situation. There is still a need for a deeper understanding of political actors as well as from academia. So that political life in Indonesia will be better. Political education, especially political ethics in Indonesia as a State based on Pancasila, must be continuously improved. This is the shared responsibility of all components of the nation. Indonesia should not be destroyed because there are foreign hands who interfere in politics in Indonesia.

Indonesia as an archipelagic country has an open sea area and the existence of the Indonesian Archipelago Sea Channel (ALKI) which creates vulnerabilities to various possible threats. It is appropriate for the Indonesian government to make the security of the Indonesian Archipelago Sea Lanes a priority in its issued maritime policies. This paper will analyze the marine defense strategy of the Indonesian government in order to enforce the law on the sea lanes of the Indonesian archipelago by using theories of marine defense strategies and law. The writing method used is descriptive qualitative literature study. The next writer will formulate the marine defense strategy of the Indonesian government in order to enforce the law on the sea lanes of the Indonesian archipelago so that it can be optimal through theories and concepts about marine defense strategies and law enforcement on the Indonesian Archipelago Sea Channel. The results showed that law enforcement was not optimal in the sea lanes of the Indonesian archipelago so that there were still obstacles. As a conclusion, law enforcement on the Indonesian archipelagic sea lanes can be carried out in the ways agreed upon in the 1982 Unclos which was ratified by Indonesia with Law no. 17 of 1985 and strengthened by PP. 37 of 2002. to achieve defense objectives in maintaining and protecting the sovereignty of the country, the territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia and the safety of the entire nation from all forms of threats.

This study intends to elucidate the effects of implementing the Pancasila student profile on the religious activities of elementary school students. The approach employed to cultivate student character in alignment with the Pancasila student profile, together with the facilitating aspects and challenges encountered in the execution of the Pancasila student profile within religious activities. This research is qualitative and descriptive in nature. The participants of the study included students, instructors, and principals from Elementary School Students Inpres 12 in Sorong Regency. The data collection methods employed in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis methodology employed an interactive paradigm involving data collection, data analysis, report compilation, and conclusion formulation. The findings indicated that the Pancasila student profile influenced the perceptions and outcomes for students at Elementary School Inpres 12. The approach employed to cultivate students into devoted and pious individuals entails spiritual awareness and adherence to God Almighty. Students exhibit noble character in their daily lives by displaying honesty, fairness, tolerance, self-control, and ethical interaction. Contributing elements encompass specialized studies that reinforce the Pancasila student profile. Furthermore, the impediment is the absence of training on the autonomous curriculum for school inhabitants.

This article makes an attempt to explain how Pancasila and Islam contribute to each other in the life of the state and strengthen the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Undoubtedly, the vast majority of the country's Muslims played a significant role in freeing the land from the colonial rule of other countries, laying the groundwork for the nation's future autonomy by forming the ideology and foundation of the state on the principles of Pancasila, and achieving these goals. The adoption of a law that governs sharia financial institutions and sharia non-banking institutions is compelling evidence that Islam and its teachings have made significant contributions to the improvement of the state of the Indonesian economy. At the same time, the Pancasila economic system is strengthened by the adoption of this law. Abstrak Artikel ini berusaha menjelaskan bagaimana Pancasila dan Islam saling berkontribusi dalam kehidupan bernegara dan memperkuat Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI). Tidak diragukan lagi, sebagian besar umat Islam di negara ini memainkan peran penting dalam membebaskan tanah dari kekuasaan kolonial negara lain, meletakkan dasar bagi otonomi bangsa di masa depan dengan membentuk ideologi dan fondasi negara pada prinsip-prinsip Pancasila, dan mencapai tujuan-tujuan ini. Pengadopsian undang-undang yang mengatur lembaga keuangan syariah dan lembaga non-perbankan syariah merupakan bukti kuat bahwa Islam dan ajarannya telah memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi perbaikan keadaan ekonomi Indonesia. Pada saat yang sama, sistem ekonomi Pancasila diperkuat dengan diadopsinya undang-undang ini.

This study aims to determine the socio-cognitive dimensions of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono's (AHY) political speech as chairman of the Democratic Party (DP). The data was taken from AHY's speech entitled Konferensi Pers Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono which was broadcasted on Agus Yudhoyono's YouTube channel. The lingual data was taken by using free listening techniques through the stages of transcription, reading and observation, sorting, storing and printing, re-reading, and determining the research subject. Meanwhile, non-lingual data was collected by using the Internet archive documentation method. The data were analysed through extra lingual matching technique, hermeneutics, and phenomenology. The analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification. The findings showed that AHY represents himself as a democratic, caring, vigilant, thorough, careful, and committed to party sovereignty leader. The social cognition aspect of AHY is dominated by his background as a former military officer and his status as party leader. The narrative built in his speech was influenced by the poor results of DP in the last 2 elections, the low electability of DP, and conflicts at the internal level of DP. The sociocognitive analysis showed that AHY constructs leadership authority by representing himself as a selective, strategic, and political leader. The three characters he builds are the strong influence of his social cognition. Through his speech, AHY strives to fight for his leadership authority, both as the general chairman of the DP, and for the wider community. Indonesia Defence University as a university that develops one of the new branches of science, defense science, must be able to meet and detect the development of global threats that are happening especially related to defense and security. Defense science emerged about five decades ago, since western countries introduced the concept of managing the defense sector to discuss how to allocate budgets and human resources, utilizing tools such as in the business world for defense purposes. The study sought to claify efforts to measure service quality based on dominant potential factors. Quality of service is assumed to be an important part in improving the quality of education in a convergent approach derived from external factors of a learner.. In this study, the stages of data analysis techniques begin by conducting descriptive statistical analysis, testing analytical prerequisites, and continued with path analysis. Descriptive statistical analysis aims to describe the data of each variable in a single way. The result is to improve the quality of lecturer services at is trust in Indonesia Defence University to be able to produce superior quality graduates.

Tidak diundangnya Ganjar Pranowo ke acara resmi Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP) di Semarang, Jawa Tengah (Jateng), pada 22 Mei 2021 dan ilegalitas penyelenggaraan Kongres Luar Biasa Partai Demokrat di Deli Serdang (KLB-DS), Sumatera Utara, pada 5 Maret 2021 semakin mengukuhkan peran faksionalisme sebagai unit analisis yang inheren bagi kajian partai politik dan elektoral. Dengan mengajukan ‘bagaimana faksionalisme muncul dan mempengaruhi partai politik’ sebagai rumusan masalah, penelitian ini berupaya untuk menunjukkan proses kemunculan, cara kerja sekaligus konsekuensi-konsekuensi faksionalisme bagi partai politik. Penelitian ini meminjam kerangka berpikir V.O. Junior-Zariski dan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan literature review sebagai teknik pengambilan data dominan untuk mengungkap realitas yang terjadi. Penelitian ini lantas sampai pada beberapa temuan. Pertama, bahwa faksionalisme bisa diproduksi oleh aktor-aktor internal dan eksternal, meski awal mula konflik akan selalu berasal dari sumber internal. Kedua, meski faksionalisme lekat dengan nuansa konfliktual yang merugikan, namun demikian, ternyata faksionalisme juga memproduksi keuntungan. Ketiga, bahwa penyebab faksionalisme masih disorot secara lebih dominan dari sudut pandang konflik personal, bukan kegagalan institusional.

Plato andAristeoteles have a teacher-student relationship. And both philosophers have the same teacher, that is, a great philosopher of the classic Greek, Socrates. Both philosophers talk many things in philosophy, and one of them is the social-political thought. The writing tries to comparative-philosophically describe the social-political thought of Plato and Aristotle that can be read in their works particularly in Republic, Laws, and Statesman of Plato, and in Nicomachean Ethics and Politics ofAristotle. The result of study shows that the main idea of their social-political philosophies is to create and maintain a just city-state providing the happiness for all citizens. But, both philosophers differ in respect of the way of embodying it. InPlato's thought, a just city-state occurs under the guidance of the light of ideal knowledge and virtue produced by philosophers-kings. Whereas for Aristotle, it happens because of the human-instictive process as socil-polical creature. It takes place as along as the city• state is able to condition its citizens to be the good people.

SI is organization based on the Islamic religion whose purpose of establishment is an economic factor that is competitive trade with Chinese merchants. Because of the influence of the socialist-revolutionary SI Semarang became a radical movement. SI was established by Muhammah Joseph together with Raden Soedjono in early 1913 which is a branch of the Surakarta SI. SI Semarang experienced disunity caused by: (a) Establishment of the Volksraad and Indie Weerbaar which raises the pros and cons among the members of SI, (b) Revolutionary Socialism, brought by HJFMSneevliet which was spread through ISDV and VSTP by inflitrating the body of SI. In the Congress in 1917, officially SI Hyderabad stating that the principle of the party split into two, namely (a) the principle of the Socialist-revolutionaries under Semaoen and (b) The principle of struggle based on the religion of Islam under Cokroaminoto.  Keywords: Sarekat Islam, Semarang, socialism Sarekat Islam Semarang merupakan organisasi berasaskan agama Islam dengan tujuan awal berdiri adalah faktor ekonomi yaitu persaingan dagang dengan pedagang-pedagang Cina. Karena pengaruh paham sosialis-revolusioner Sarekat Islam Semarang dalam pergerakannya menjadi radikal. Sarekat Islam Semarang didirikan oleh Raden Muhammah Joesoep bersama Raden Soedjono pada awal tahun 1913 yang merupakan cabang dari Sarekat Islam Surakarta. Sarekat Islam Semarang mengalami perpecahan yang disebabkan oleh: (a) Pembentukan Volksraad dan Indie Weerbaar yang menimbulkan pro dan kontra antar anggota Sarekat Islam, (b) Paham Sosialisme-Revolusioner yang dibawa oleh H.J.F.M. Sneevliet yang disebarkan melalui ISDV dan VSTP dengan melakukan infiltrasi ke dalam tubuh Sarekat Islam. Pergerakan nasional Indonesia dimulai pada awal abad ke-20 dengan munculnya beberapa organisasi modern. Salah satunya adalah Sarekat Islam. Organisasi ini bermula dari sebuah perkumpulan para pedagang batik untuk mengimbangi kemajuan para pedagang batik Cina. Keanggotaannya terus berkembang hingga tidak terhadap para pedagang batik saja, tetapi seluruh bangsa Indonesia yang beragama Islam sehingga Sarekat Islam berkembang menjadi sebuah organisasi modern yang paling banyak anggotanya. Tulisan ini mengulas tentang keberadaan Sarekat Islam dalam pergerakan nasional Indonesia.
