Decision-making processes integrate both rational and intuitive approaches, crucial across disciplines like management, psychology, and neuroscience. This study systematically reviews 152 eligible studies using PRISMA 2020 methodology, examining key theoretical frameworks. Single-process approaches highlight structured, logical analysis, while dual-process theories differentiate deliberate rationality from intuition. Emerging multidimensional perspectives frame intuition as a complex construct encompassing emotional, experiential, and holistic mechanisms. The review proposes an integrated framework with 12 dimensions, including analytical, planning, and knowing (rational) alongside emotional, holistic, and anticipatory (intuitive) styles. It also introduces new dimensions such as body impulses, anticipation, unconscious thought processes, and technology-based decisions, bridging gaps in current models. Advanced technologies like AI are reshaping decision-making, challenging traditional boundaries between rationality and intuition. This study unites diverse theoretical approaches and provides a foundation for interdisciplinary research and applications. It emphasizes integrating rational and intuitive dimensions to enhance decision-making efficiency and adaptability across fields.

SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is an innovative computerized programming for statistical analysis, specially developed for the social sciences research. Now a day, it is widely used particularly in the huge data analysis. SPSS is a software through which researcher can understand the human behavior, the role and influence of the organization, etc. including the analytic thinking of several indicators of society in a scientific way. Currently, this software is widely exercised by the business hubs, market analysis agencies, and educational institutions and even by the government itself. Simply, we can aver that it assists the researcher in concerning to the documentation of the data. It is a full package software encompasses all forms of statistical analysis which is efficaciously able to convert the quantitative data to qualitative analysis. This present paper is an effort to understand the usability, difficulties and shortcomings of the SPSS software in the social science research.

Trust plays an important role in social media communication. For companies, trust is an important determinant of successful online communication. Thus, there is a pressing need to understand consumers’ trust in the socially mediated environment This paper presents a research study focused on modelling trust dimensions on social media. The main objective of this research is to identify which dimensions of trust play the most significant role in building trust in communication on social media. The second objective is focused on the development and validation of the five-factor trust measurement scale. A questionnaire survey (n=1000) was used as a tool to gather data. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis and modelling. The research findings provide a deeper understanding of the factors that influence trust in the context of social media communication and expand existing knowledge. The conducted research uncovers the main trust dimensions that can be used to influence consumers’ attitudes toward companies operating online. Our model can help companies shape their communication to the right tone by highlighting the crucial factors that have a direct influence on trust.

Objective: To analyze the innovation process in the light of the RBV and The Theory of the Growth of the Firm, by Edith Penrose. Methodology: A Systematic Literature Review was carried out using the Methodi Ordinatio. The Social Network Analysis technique was performed to determine which theoretical contexts the studies were based on. Similarity Analysis was also carried out to identify the relationship between the elements of the focal approaches and the innovation process. Originality/relevance: The Penrose study is considered by many researchers to be the antecedent of what was later called Resource-Based View, however, most of these studies did not fully explain the contribution of Penrose´s theory in the specifics of the theoretical view. Although research on innovation has been based on theoretical approaches in the field of strategy, there have been no analyses that systematized the innovation process by integrating the Penrose theory and RBV. Main results: The studies that analyzed innovation from the RBV and the Theory of the Growth of the Firm emphasized the maintenance of competitive advantage as a result of its dynamic capabilities, as well as access to and use of organizational knowledge. The authors identified heterogeneous innovation resources and imperfectly mobile, such as user-technology interactions, trajectory-dependent capabilities, specialized assets, R&D capabilities, and network ties. Theoretical contributions: The study revealed that through the continuous execution of the innovation process, unique core competencies (e.g., R&D experience) are developed to improve heterogeneous and imperfectly mobile innovation resources.

It has been known for over a century that there is an afferent (body-to-brain) component to the visceral-autonomic nervous system. Despite the fundamental importance of bodily afferent information - sometimes called interoception - to central nervous system control of visceral organ function, emotional-motivational processes, and dysfunctino of these processes, including psychosomatic disorders, its role did not receive much attention until quite recently. This is the first comprehensive review of this topic and it covers both neurobiological and psychobiological aspects. The author first defines the issues and gives an historical background starting with the James-Lange theory of emotion, and addresses learning and motivation, roots in Pavlovian conditioning research, and operant conditioning of visceral function. In the second section he reviews recent scientific findings in the neural basis of visceral perception and studies in cardiovascular-respiratory and alimentary interoception. Finally, he discusses several related areas of research and theory including drug state issues, interoception and psychiatric disorders, and bodily consciousness, and suggests directions for future investigation.

Writing before the pandemic, Naeem Inayatullah argues, “Teaching is impossible. Learning is unlikely.” This chapter builds upon this polemic—the impossibility of teaching (during the pandemic)—to explore that which we owe our students. Drawing from the experience of teaching international relations at an all-male historically Black college, I propose a pedagogy of care that strives to ensure that all students will have the support needed to successfully complete the course. This shift in the middle of the 2020 spring semester was warranted, given the unique mission of the college where I work and the student population we serve. In such an adaptive pedagogy, the chapter highlights also the duty to care, the attempts to make the classroom a lively space in times of mass death, and a pedagogy built upon relationality to make sense of the pandemic, using critical IR theories and concepts.
