CHOIR CONDUCTING PEDAGOGY IN THE SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE OF MODERN PROFESSIONAL ART EDUCATION
Abstract
The article brings up to date the issue of studying the phenomenon of choir conducting pedagogy in the scientific discourse in modern professional art education. Addressing the issue of determining the content of conducting and choral pedagogy, which take place in the scientific discourse of modern professional art education, is relevant in connection with the need to improve professional training of future musician in the context of strategic goals and needs of modern higher education. graduates. The becoming of essential characteristics of the phenomenon under study has been traced with the application of such basic concepts as scientific discourse, professional art education, music and pedagogical education and choir conducting training. It is stated that choir conducting pedagogy functions in interdisciplinary interaction of disciplines of choir conducting block, music pedagogy, art education and art history as a concretization of choral culture. It is noted that choir conducting training of a future musician in the artistic space of higher education institutions – provided the content of its main components is taken into account – expresses itself in choir conducting pedagogy, which is aimed at formation of a worldview, national identity, moral and aesthetic culture of a personality. Consistent representation of essential characteristics of the studied phenomenon has made it possible to reveal its specificity and expression in the scientific field of modern art educational space. Generalization of the process of development and functioning of choir conducting pedagogy in the system of professional art education and music-pedagogic education in particular is promoting further research of the author in the context of improving the course “Choir conducting pedagogy" with the aim to enrich the content of training of future musicians in the specialty 014 Secondary education (Musical art) and its implementation into artistic pedagogical educational practice of other art institutions of higher education in Ukraine.
"The relevance of the studied issue is the need to identify the main trends in choral performance, and determine the principles of the work of conductors and choral artists in the context of renewal of the components in this field. The aim of the research is to study the problem of current global trends in the development of choral performance as a complex multifaceted and integral phenomenon. Its practical methods (audio search; audio selection; audio analysis) were used in the research. The aspects of modern choral performance (interdisciplinary; socio-cultural; as well as artistic management; professional training; modern engineering technologies; information and communication space; technologies aimed at preserving human and professional resources) were identified. The current components of activity in the field of modern choral art were established. The directions of modern choral practice were identified (activation of the musical group in the life of society; expansion of traditional executive functions; growth of the genre stylistic palette of the choral repertoire). The system of key modernized methods of interpreting choral works of the 20th and 21st centuries was studied (principles of intonation; the principle of expanding the range; the principle of enriching the technical means of interpretation; the principles of forming the performance texture; the principle of interpreting the verbal text in the context of the choral score; the principle of creating different types of sound). The general features of modern choral performance in Ukraine and in the world were studied. The results can be applied in the process of researching future choral performing practice and preparing the relevant studies. The prospects of research in this field of musical culture are to enrich the theoretical and practical sectors of choral art as a complex system which is open for updates. У статті розглянуто основні складники сучасної диригентсько-хорової освіти, що складається з таких компонентів: диригування (хорове/оркестрове), хорознавство, практична робота з вокально-хоровим колективом, хорове аранжування, хоровий клас, постановка голосу, інструментальна підготовка тощо. Методологія статті базується на науковому дослідженні й аналізі літературних джерел, використанні аналітичного методу для огляду останніх досліджень і публікацій у структурі диригентсько-хорової освіти й виконавства. Окреслено основні якості майбутнього хорового диригента, серед яких – досконале володіння основами мануальної техніки, належна вокальна й інструментальна підготовка, знання елементарної теорії музики, сольфеджіо, гармонії, поліфонії та композиції, наявність відповідних особистих (комунікація, емпатія, пунктуальність, стресостійкість, критичне мислення, креативність) і лідерських якостей. З’ясовано зміст основних менеджерських функцій керівника хорового колективу, серед яких – організація та забезпечення належних матеріально-технічних умов для реалізації завдань колективу (репетиційна база; забезпечення учасників допоміжними матеріалами; пошук цифрових платформ і концертних майданчиків для здійснення виконавської діяльності), фінансове забезпечення колективу (заробітна плата (за наявності професійного рівня); пошук окремої фінансової підтримки (спонсори, меценати, патронаж)), популяризація та просування колективу (створення електронного сайту, розповсюдження аудіо- й відеоматеріалів на цифрових платформах (наприклад, YouTube), ведення сторінок у соціальних мережах (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok), участь у радіо й телевізійних ефірах (за можливості) на державних центральних чи регіональних засобах масової інформації). Аргументовано доцільність уведення основних аспектів менеджменту в сучасну диригентсько-хорову освіту, їхнє застосування під час освітнього процесу в контексті практичної роботи з вокально-хоровими колективами.
