Abstract

This literature review addresses the evaluation of the current state of laparoscopic surgery with various surgical diseases. The first part of the article informs on the stages of laparoscopic surgery's development, on the modern view on indications for endoscopic surgeries and on advantages and disadvantages of laparoscopic surgery. Close attention is paid to minimal invasion surgery on gallbladder diseases and its complications, liver resection, splenectomy, gastric resection and fundoplication.
