دراسة تحليلية لكتب علم الأحياء في المرحلة الثانوية في ضوء أبعاد الثقافة البيئية

منذ ظهور الإنسان على كوكب الأرض سعى وبكافة الوسائل المتاحة على استغلال أكبر قدر ممكن من الموارد الطبيعية. ومن خلال هذا السعي للسيطرة على البيئة المحيطة به استطاع أن يسخر الكثير من الطاقات الطبيعية لإشباع رغباته . وبمرور الزمن ونتيجة لسوء الاستغلال هذا حدثت أضرار كبيرة بالبيئة. وقد ورد في القرآن الكريم قوله تعالى ((ظهر الفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت أيدي الناس ليذيقهم بعض الذي عملوا لعلهم يرجعون)) (الروم :41).ويهدف البحث إلى التعرف على مدى تضمين كتب علم الأحياء للمرحلة الثانوية لأبعاد الثقافة البيئية من خلال تحليل محتواها في ضوء أبعاد الثقافة البيئية المعدة لهذه الدراسة والتي تضمنت (13) بعدا .شمل التحليل ست كتب لعلم الأحياء وبلغ عدد صفحاتها المحللة (1017) صفحة ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة إن كتاب الأحياء للصف الرابع العلمي على أعلى نسبة بلغت (62,42%) في تضمينه للمواضيع البيئية الواردة ضمن أبعاد الثقافة البيئية . ومن حيث أبعاد الثقافة البيئية كان الغلاف الحيوي هو الأكثر اهتماما بنسبة 39,69% . وأوصى الباحث بتضمين المناهج الدراسية البعد البيئي من خلال ربط المناهج الدراسية بقضايا البيئة ومشكلاتها.Since the emergence of the human on the planet and sought by all available means to exploit as much as possible of the natural resources . So the man said he wanted to live in a clean environment and a donor must possess some degree of environmental education and awareness , which ensures the continuity of life and durability . The longer the period of education per capita the most appropriate stages of his life to the development of culture and consciousness of environmental and in order to succeed the school to do so must be the approach the school to provide the appropriate environment for the growth of the students and provide them with the knowledge and expertise appropriate for the Textbook big role and essential in achieving the objectives of the curriculum. The research aims to identify the extent of biology books included in the secondary stage of the dimensions of environmental culture through content analysis in the light of the dimensions of the environmental culture prepared for this study , which included (13) dimension . The analysis included six books of biology and the number of pages analyst ( 1017 ) Page One of the main findings of the study, said biology book for fourth grade science at the highest ratio was ( 62.42 % ) included in environmental issues contained within the dimensions of the environmental culture . In terms of the dimensions of environmental culture was the biosphere is the most interest rate of 39.69 % . The researcher recommended curriculum include the environmental dimension of the curriculum by linking environmental issues and problems .

Children and the Environment Ecological Awareness among Preschool Children

The present study examined ecological awareness among preschool children. Three tasks were employed with 3-to 5-year-old boys and girls residing in rural and urban communities: a picture discrimination, a picture arrangement, and a picture comprehension task. It was found the young children are able to identify graphically depicted ecological issues with accuracy, relative to the nature of the task and its level of difficulty. It was also found that boys and girls, within the age range surveyed, were comparably aware of ecological issues. Moreover, no differences were found relative to the children's place of residence. The implications of these findings for ecological education and for advancing our knowledge of the development of ecological attitudes and behavior are discussed.

Teacher qualification guidelines, ecological literacy and outdoor education

A key signpost to a profession is clarity of disciplinary knowledge. In this paper I describe the content and outcome of a process to refine the qualification guidelines for outdoor education teachers in Victorian, Australia. The guidelines, developed for the Victorian Institute of Teaching, include both practical skills and disciplinary knowledge. These can help differentiate outdoor education from other areas such as physical education. The practical skill areas that form the basis of the outdoor education teacher guidelines are summarised in the paper. The disciplinary knowledge required of outdoor education teachers includes content such as human interaction with natural environments, activity knowledge, safety and ecological literacy. Ecological literacy has been less often described in past editions of AJOE. In the latter half of the paper I therefore describe, with reference to David Orr (1992, 2004), the value and relevance of ecological literacy for outdoor education. I conclude that ecological literacy could be developed as a key rationale and practice for outdoor education in schooling.
