ABSTRACT :
In this study, the effect of laser radiation on the Tribalium castaneum was examined in
terms of changes in the external appearance of this insect in terms of shape and color, as well
as the calculation of the percentage of death rate due to diode laser irradiation of wavelength
(532 nm) and power (1 W) which was conducted at three distances (10, 15, 20)cm and
exposure times (10, 15, 20)sec for each distance. The results showed an increase in the
percentage of killers of the flour beetle in addition to increasing distortions where the
distance between the insects and the laser source decreased and the exposure time increased.
Note the results of this laser treatment effect in time stages, after (12 hours) and then note
after pass (24 hours) and after (48 hours) and then (72 hours). The rate of killing was (100%)
at the distances (20, 15) cm after (72 hours) after exposure to laser.

Biophysics subject covers multiple fields of physics and biology. In this research the effect of some parameters of diode laser has been experimented with ants (Camponotus consobrinus) which includes the effect on its external shape, as well as the percentage of the killing rate obtained as a result of laser radiation at a wavelength (532 nm) with power (200 mW), at distances: (10, 12, and 14 cm) between laser source and the insect, and exposure times (10, 15 and 20 sec) for each distance. The obtained results showed an increase in the rate of ant killing, as well as an increase in deformations where the distance decreased and laser exposure time increased. These results were recorded after time periods after laser treatment, which are as follows: (12, 24, 48 and 72 h). The thermal diffusion within the tissues resulting from laser radiation causes increased death rates due to damage of internal structures.

Laser applications cover various fields in science and technology including physics, chemistry, biology, electronics, and medicine. In this work, the effect of irradiation with two different energies of red diode laser on (2 M) of calcium chloride solution was studied by investigating the optical properties and chemical composition by both UV-visible spectrophotometer and FTIR technique. The effect of the laser on the absorption, transmittance, and reflectivity spectra, as well as its effect on some optical constants and effective groups in the chemical composition of calcium chloride solution, was studied.
