Java High Level Framework

This is a prototype of a Java code that implements the High-Level Framework. The high-level classifier has been given a simple implementation. You must provide the low-level classifier. The code is extensible to permit using other distance metrics or implementations of the high- and low-level classifiers.

Classification of transversal gates in qubit stabilizer codes

This work classifies the set of diagonal gates that can implement a single or two-qubit transversal logical gate for qubit stabilizer codes. We show that individual physical diagonal gates on the underlying qubits that compose the code are restricted to have entries of the form e iπc/2 k along their diagonal, resulting in a similarly restricted class of logical gates that can be implemented in ... [Show full abstract] this manner. As such, we show that all diagonal logical gates that can be implemented transversally by individual physical diagonal gates must belong to the Clifford hierarchy. Moreover, we show that for a given stabilizer code, the two-qubit diagonal transversal gates must belong to the same level of Clifford hierarchy as the single-qubit diagonal transversal gates available for the given code. We use this result to prove a conjecture about arbitrary transversal gates made by Zeng et al. in 2007.

Two-Dimensional Simulation of Nonequilibrium Disk MHD Generator Considering Boundary Layer

[Show full abstract] layer. In this paper, at first, the numerical procedure of the code is briefly explained. Next, calculations are performed using the two-dimensional simulation code for the same conditions as used in the experiments and the calculation results are compared with the experimental results and the quasi-one-dimensional time-dependent calculation results in which the displacement thickness of the boundary layer is assumed. As a result, the validity of the two-dimensional simulation code is made clear from the fact that the two-dimensional calculation results agree well with the experimental results. It is also made clear that the quasi-one-dimensional simulation code is not sufficient and the two-dimensional simulation code is required to calculate the performance characteristics of the generator in detail.
