The “Professional Noticing” is a pioneering approach in professional teacher development and research, based on perceiving possibilities in the present moment and reflecting on what was perceived before, in order to prepare for the future. The essay discusses the context of teaching in Science and Health and how the professional in the field of Physical Education deals with it. Then, aspects related to the teacher’s education to teach content in the health area are presented, but with an emphasis on the competence for the “Professional View”. It ends by emphasizing that, in order to teach content related to the health area, there is a need for professionals to use digital technological knowledge, as this type of knowledge, when put into action in teaching practice, can result in profound changes in education. The final considerations present a proposal for a formative intervention to develop this teachers’ “Professional Noticing” to teach contents related to the health area based on Design-Based Research (DBR) as proposed by Cobb et al (2003).
