Abstract

To assess the effectiveness of the management of land resources for agricultural enterprises suggested factors affecting the market for agricultural products, which integrates a system of environmental, economic and social indicators in this area. The paper highlights main theoretical aspects of the land resource management of the agricultural enterprises. The essence of land resource management is shown based on the definition of the objects of management, which are land resources of agricultural enterprises, subjects of management, which are landowners and employees of such agricultural enterprises, and objective of management, which is providing and maintaining the efficiency of land resources usage as a key factor of agricultural production. The land market and its structure are presented in detail. Described prospects management of land resources of agricultural enterprises. A complete analysis of mortgage lending secured by agricultural lands has been carried out. A decrease in the number of agricultural enterprises, which is mostly connected with imperfections of land governance, formed in the state, has been identified. Relationships between strengths and weaknesses of agricultural enterprises, opportunities, and threats of efficient land use have been identified. Scenarios of economic development have been considered, which should be taken into account while developing a strategy.

However, these species were no longer documented in the records compiled for the current study and can now be considered either rare or extinct in mainland Ukraine. New ecological niches were established because of the introduction of new species from different habitats. ...

Article Info Importance of the work: Over the past 50 years, changes in land use strategies from extensive to intensive, changes in landscape structure and increased agricultural production have had a substantial impact on weed diversity and the ratio of individual weed species in agroecosystems. Objective: To determine the quantitative and qualitative changes in the species composition of weeds in the agrophytocenoses of the continental part of Ukraine and to determine the reasons for these changes based on a retrospective analysis and assessment of the current state in agricultural fields. Such information is necessary to better understand the trends in the expansion of certain species to predict and therefore counteract their expansion. Materials and Methods: Dynamic data were analyzed based on scientific studies carried out in the eastern portion of the continental zone according to European biogeographical zoning. Data were collected on weed from 1975 to 2023 from the systematic records that had been kept during this time for a variety of investigations. Results: Based on the findings, spanning from 1975 to the present, over 700 different species of weeds were identified from Ukraine's major crop areas. Only about 30 of the recorded species were primary weeds that substantially reduced crop yields; these species were identified in nearly all agrophytocenoses and uncultivated lands in this biogeographic zone, while the remaining 75-225 species could cause minor harm to pastures, hayfields, perennial crops and agricultural crops. Main finding: Even though weed species have changed over time, a few species have dominated all crop types: Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.; Elymus repens (L.) Gould; Convolvulus arvensis L.; Sonchus arvensis L.; Stellaria media; Chenopodium album; Polygonum aviculare; Galium aparine; and Amaranthus retroflexus. In the continental part of Ukraine, several species were either rare or extinct and not found in any of the plots in the current investigation: Hyoscyamus niger L.; Knautia arvensis L. Coult.; Sherardia arvensis L.; Anthemis arvensis L. and Scleranthus annuus L. 632 T. Fedoniuk et al. / Agr. Nat. Resour. 58 (2024) 631-642
... These towering structures, often seen as symbols of economic prosperity and architectural innovation, provide a vertical solution to the spatial limitations faced by densely populated urban environments [2][3][4]. As the global urban population continues to grow, with projections indicating an increase of over 2.5 billion people by 2050 [5], the importance of efficient land use through vertical construction has never been more critical [6]. In this context, skyscrapers, embodying the concept of vertical cities, have evolved from mere buildings to intricate systems that integrate structural efficiency, spatial utility, and aesthetic value. ...

This study offers a thorough comparative analysis of space efficiency in skyscrapers across three distinct forms: prismatic, tapered, and free. By examining case studies from each form category, this research investigates how architectural and structural design features impact space utilization in supertall towers. The findings reveal form-based differences in space efficiency and design element usage. In prismatic skyscrapers, which are primarily residential and utilize concrete outrigger frames, the average space efficiency was around 72%, with the core occupying 24% of the gross floor area (GFA). Tapered skyscrapers, commonly mixed-use with composite outrigger frames, showed an average space efficiency of over 70%, with a core-to-GFA ratio of 26%. Freeform towers, often mixed-use and using composite outrigger frames, demonstrated a space efficiency of 71%, with an average core-to-GFA ratio of 26%. Despite these variations, a consistent trend emerged: as the height of a building increases, there is a general decline in space efficiency, highlighting the challenges in optimizing space in taller structures. This analysis adds to the understanding of skyscraper design and space utilization, providing important insights for architects and urban planners aiming to improve the efficiency of future high-rise developments.

This article examines the challenges faced by Ukraine, which is embroiled in a military conflict within its borders, particularly the imperative to ensure the efficiency of its transport infrastructure and logistics processes. It has been identified that military actions result in damage to transport networks, restricted access to critical resources, and alterations in logistics operations. It has been established that in wartime conditions, strategic planning of transport infrastructure and effective management of logistics solutions become particularly pertinent as they dictate the country's capacity to meet its own needs and accomplish strategic objectives. Furthermore, it has been determined that Ukraine's future integration into Europe necessitates reforming its transport and logistics system to align with EU standards. Strategic approaches to restoring the transport network and addressing logistics challenges during conflict are discussed, primarily focusing on alternative routes, the development of effective supply chain management systems, and enhancing system redundancy. Strategies for adaptation and response to changes aimed at ensuring the reliability and efficiency of transport and logistics processes in Ukraine have been explored.

It was established that during the first year of the war, the aggregate indicator of the efficiency of the functioning of agricultural enterprises decreased by 25.3% - from 18.31 to 13.67. However, the absolute value of this indicator in 2022 exceeds the indicators of 2017, 2018 and 2020. According to groups of indicators, efficiency indicators experienced the greatest decrease - more than 2 times (from 11.49 to 5.13). Economic and production indicators and indicators of the financial condition of agricultural enterprises decreased during the first year of the war by 19.5 and 18.1%, respectively. The integral indicator of financial support of agricultural enterprises showed a positive growth rate of 5.7%, which is explained by an increase in their capital by 7.2% (96.6 billion UAH) thanks to a significant (43.5% or 35.9 billion UAH) growth attraction of bank loans.
