Abstract

This article outlines the digitalisation boost in the higher education system during spring 2020 in Germany. It calls into question how universities will choose to manage the altered reality. For this purpose a utopic comparison between current and future university teaching and learning is drawn. This paper invites actors at universities to take different development scenarios into consideration and encourages taking action.
