La Programación Creativa y la enseñanza de la programación

Abstract

Hace varios años atrás, en su tesis doctoral el profesor Gary Stager (2007), referente en estudios sobre comunidades y espacios informales de aprendizaje, sintetiza los aportes derivados del construccionismo de Seymour Papert en ocho ideas principales. Una de ellas indica que habitamos un mundo digital donde conocer acerca de cómo funciona es tan importante como saber leer y escribir. En el mismo sentido, el profesor Mitchel Resnick, investigador del MIT Medialab, indica que hoy el éxito en el desarrollo personal no se basa solamente en lo que se sabe, sino en la habilidad desarrollada para pensar y actuar creativamente (Resnick, 2008). Aún, más atrás en el tiempo y en esta línea de pensamiento, el pedagogo Paulo Freire (2015), sostenía que las personas no se forman en un ambiente de silencio, sino por medio de la palabra, en el trabajo, en la acción y en la reflexión. Esta perspectiva educativa habla de la necesidad de que los estudiantes deben desarrollar capacidades que les permiten realizar una lectura crítica de su contexto para luego poder intervenirlo de manera efectiva (Gurstein, 2003). Las posiciones y reflexiones de los referentes anteriores hablan de un nuevo estadio de nuestro mundo y nos plantean un gran interrogante ¿qué significa hoy leer y escribir?

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la valoración que los estudiantes de diferentes universidades de Colombia manifiestan sobre la modalidad virtual. El trabajo se basa en los resultados obtenidos a partir de la aplicación de una encuesta a 384 estudiantes de universidades virtuales de Colombia. Los datos obtenidos confirmarían la fuerte asociación existente entre los factores relativos a la calidad de la infraestructura tecnológica, de la información y del servicio ofrecido así como en las interacciones generadas en la acción formativa. Los resultados ayudarían a las instituciones de educación superior en el desarrollo de proyectos o programas que contribuyan al aumento de la percepción de la calidad de la educación recibida por los estudiantes vinculados a este tipo de programas de estudios superiores.

A partir de una breve mirada sobre la Educación a Distancia (EAD) y la educación con Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje (EVEA) observa los riesgos del intento de imitar la presencialidad con el uso de determinadas teconlogías digitales.

Dropping out in online higher education has multiples and interdependent causes. This paper is based on a literature review from 52 college dropout factors between 2004 to 2019. Results show that the most influential factors to online dropout relate to previous academic performance, age, gender, personal circumstances and online and self-directed learning skills. Finally, it is discussed some strategies to reduce online higher education dropping out from these factors and promote the persistence, and it is offered a few recommendations for future research.

A Educação Profissional tem sido objeto de discussões focalizando prioritariamente as organizações curriculares e percursos formativos, com menor ênfase em metodologias de aprendizagem voltadas para a construção de competências profissionais. Este artigo incentiva a revisão de práticas tradicionais de ensino e discute possibilidades de metodologias ativas na Educação Profissional, especialmente as metodologias Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas e Aprendizagem Baseada em Projetos. Ambas têm um ideário favorável às necessidades da Educação Profissional e podem gerar práticas docentes inovadoras no contexto da formação profissional, superando limitações dos modelos tradicionais de ensino.

La utilización de tecnologías como medio para garantizar la accesibilidad al aprendizaje y atender la diversidad del alumnado en el aula ha sido objeto de numerosos estudios y experiencias educativas. Entre las propuestas teórico-prácticas más prometedoras se encuentran los enfoques basados en el Diseño Universal (DU), que han trasladado la aplicación de los principios de este movimiento arquitectónico al ámbito educativo. Se presentan brevemente los cuatro enfoques más relevantes a los que ha dado lugar, se describe con más detalle el Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA) y el potencial que reconoce a las tecnologías para lograr un curriculum accesible para todos los estudiantes. Se analizan los resultados de su utilización en la formación de maestros y de profesorado universitario, sobre la integración práctica de sus principios en relación al uso de las TIC y en los cursos que se apoyan o imparten en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje. Los diferentes autores valoran positivamente el potencial de este modelo en la mejora de la atención a la diversidad y de la educación de calidad para todos los estudiantes universitarios y su papel estratégico en la formación de docentes.AbstractThe use of technology as a means of ensuring accessibility to learning and to meet the diversity of students in the classroom has been the subject of numerous studies and educational experiences. Some of the most promising theoretical and practical approaches proposed are based on the Universal Design (UD), which apply the principles of this architectural movement in education. The four most relevant approaches that have led are briefly introduced. The Universal Design for Learning (DUA) framework and its recognized potential to technologies to provide an accessible curriculum for all students are described more in detail. It analyses practical experiences in the training of teachers and faculty about UDL and the use of ICT in the curriculum, and in relation to the integration of its principles in courses that are supported or taught in virtual learning environments. Different authors are positive about the potential of this model in meeting the needs of diversity and improving quality education for all college students, and in considering the strategic role of UDL in teacher and faculty training.

Resumo O presente artigo traz reflexões sobre educomunicação, estilos de aprendizagem, desenho animado e prática pedagógica na educação infantil. Entendemos os desenhos animados como importantes referências na formação sociocultural das crianças contemporâneas na medida em que participam da sua aprendizagem sobre as coisas do mundo. Colocamos-nos em busca de um maior entendimento sobre a prática pedagógica e sua relação com os desenhos animados no contexto da Educação Infantil e o estilo de aprendizagem das crianças. El artículo aporta algunos elementos para conocer la situación de las mujeres en la industria de videojuegos de Argentina. Parte de la perspectiva tecnofeminista, la cual entiende a la tecnología como parte del tejido social, estudia las brechas digitales de género, y las conexiones entre las desigualdades de género y otras formas de desigualdad. Recorre dos ejes: a) observa la producción y consumo de videojuegos, y analiza la participación femenina en organizaciones del sector; b) indaga en las percepciones que las mujeres integrantes del sector tienen sobre sí mismas y sobre el/los rol/es que las mujeres y hombres ejercen en esta industria. Se propone un abordaje cuantitativo y cualitativo.

Ensino remoto, aula assíncrona e plataforma de comunicação são termos, entre outros, que entram no vocabulário do cotidiano das pessoas desde que a pandemia de Covid-19 nos forçou ao isolamento social em março de 2020. Esse fato tornou relevante a discussão sobre os ecossistemas de comunicação possibilitados pela importância das mídias em nosso cotidiano, seja no trabalho, nas relações familiares e nas escolas. Com a pandemia de Covid-19, as mídias adquiriam um papel ainda mais relevante no nosso cotidiano e sua inserção na prática escolar deixa de ser a discussão da ordem do dia para ser o processo comunicacional que cada uma viabiliza. Neste artigo, identificamos como a comunicação é feita nos Modos Estrela, Círculo e Rede e qual ecossistema de comunicação corresponde a cada um e discutimos como o conceito de ecossistema torna-se interessante para compreender os processos comunicacionais e educacionais. Propomos, por fim, o esquema de um ecossistema educomunicativo como uma ferramenta para, a partir do aprendido durante a pandemia, elaborar propostas para a pós-pandemia.
