... [Show full abstract] research was carried out in order to confirm the influences of depression, self-esteem, and self-identity on the career identity. As a result of the research, it appeared that, the more one is depressed, the higher the feeling of career identity is. And it appeared that, the higher the self-esteem and the higher the feeling of self-identity, the higher the feeling of career identity is. However, the influences of the gender and the academic grades had no significant influences on the career identity. Based on such research results, a plan for improving the career identity of the youths was proposed.
