Authors:

Abstract

Centuries later, Robert Burns' poem "A Man's A Man For A' That" still echoes the human plight and radiates a hope for a better future. An examination of his poem will reveal how the issues that Burns faced during his lifetime in the 18th century are still issues faced today, and his commentaries are still pertinent to our modern cultural, economic, and political climate.
