Abstract

(In Quebec, dogs are an integral part of the social and cultural environment of northern regions inhabited mainly by Inuit, Cree, Naskapi and Innu communities. While dog populations contribute to the well-being of humans, their presence generates various health risks, such as the transmission of rabies through bites.)
