founder and chairman Aymen I. Idris, Ph.D. and ateam of students at the
department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield (England, UK) in
2020,and adopted by AiS.AiSiestimates the impact of educational, human
development and socio-economic status on the scientific output of acountry.

The data used to calculate AiSi
draws on awide range of
metrics that include growth
domestic product, capita,
literacy rate, external debt,
and anumber of indices that
include education, gender
parity, Hand Human
Development index;which are
obtained from awide range of
public sources, including the
World Bank, United Nation,
Wikipedia, Transparency
international and many
others.Data related to
scientific research output
presented in AiSiare obtained
from scientific databases that
include Medline, Crossref and
many other publicly-available
datasets.
