1. PURPOSE AND STRUCTURE OF THIS DOCUMENT
The aim of this document is to provide instructions and guidelines on the following subjects:
• Dissemination Objectives, Dissemination Targets, What to disseminate
• In which format dissemination is performed
• By which means / channel / media dissemination is performed
• By whom and when dissemination is performed
• How to monitor effective dissemination
This document shall be used as a reference for any dissemination action associated with the
ANALYST project.
2. WHY DO WE NEED A DISSEMINATION PLAN?
ANALYST will progressively deliver a number of results and knowledge of European industries,
academics and research centers. It is important to ensure that these results and knowledge are
made available in the most appropriate way to stakeholders in order to maximize their future use
(exploitation). However, the potential users are varied in nature, interested in different
results/knowledge and can be reached by different means at different times throughout the
project’s life.
This dissemination plan has therefore been defined to achieve this goal using a structured and
coordinated approach to ensure that partners are aware of the planned dissemination activities to
which they will be required to contribute.
3. DISSEMINATION OBJECTIVES
The dissemination actions that are performed should contribute to the following objectives to
maximize the future exploitation of project results:
• Raise awareness of the stakeholders to access and use the results (airlines, certification
authorities, airframes, system providers, equipment providers, academic, research
centers, etc.)
• Widely inform the scientific and technical community on project achievements to access
and use the knowledge gained.
Importantly, prior to any dissemination activity, it must be verified that the Intellectual Property
Rights (IPR) of the results to be disseminated are effectively protected. Therefore, official
authorization for publication/presentation of the General Assembly must be sought.

5. ROLE OF PROJECT PARTICIPANTS AND RULES TO BE
RESPECTED
Generally, all ANALYST members are expected to:
- Inform the Coordinators and Management Committee (MC) of any intentions to perform
dissemination actions.
- Inform and obtain permission from other participants whose material you may be
disseminating prior to the material being approved by the ANALYST members.
- Add in all dissemination appropriate reference to the project and funding authorities
(European Commission).
- Update ResearchGate platform of all public dissemination and push public materials
(resume, paper, presentation, etc.)
Specifically, below are described the rules to be respected for dissemination of project results and
participation to conferences.
5.1 Dissemination of project results
Before initiating dissemination actions (e.g. publishing of a paper, press release, participating in a
conference), partners should seek approval via the Project Management Team to ensure that their
action is in line with the Dissemination Plan.
According to the Consortum agreement, a participant that intends to disseminate its results must
give advance notice to the other participants of — unless agreed otherwise — at least 45 days,
together with sufficient information on the results it will disseminate.
Any other participant may object within — unless agreed otherwise — 30 days of receiving
notification, if it can show that its legitimate interests in relation to the results or background
would be significantly harmed. In such cases, the dissemination may not take place unless
appropriate steps are taken to safeguard these legitimate interests.
Also, all the dissemination activities carried out throughout the project must be tracked and
registered in the Dissemination Register maintained by WP6 activity. This should include
sufficient details/references as it will be included in the reporting to the funding authorities
(European Commission) to enable them to trace the activity.
5.2 Information on support — Obligation and right to use the JU logo and
the EU emblem
As described in the Grant Agreement, any communication activity related to the action (including
in electronic form, via social media, etc.) and any infrastructure, equipment and major results
funded by the grant must:
(a) display the JU logo;
(b) display the EU emblem and
(c) include the following text:

8. EXPLOITATION OF ANALYST RESULTS
ANALYST, because of its capability to assess uncertainty and design sensitivity, is one of the key
projects surfing on the wave to consider EWIS as an equipment system as noble as other usual
equipment systems to be installed in aircraft. In the future, those capabilities will be mandatory
for future virtual certification by numerical modelling as recommended by ACARE.
The EMC research community has already worked for a long time in the field of uncertainty
modelling of cable-bundles. However, most of the studies have remained at generic level or even
point-to-point bundle configurations of limited sizes, which is too restrictive to address real cable-
harnesses as encountered in industry. Because of its objective to address the problem at large
MTLN models, ANALYST is likely to launch a new field of research for future laboratories. By
the way, this research activity will not only impact research for aeronautical wiring but all types of
wiring installations and applications in other industry domains (power line communications,
wiring in ground installations and ground transport....).
The topic object of the project is of clear interest for the educational community. By accessing to
the project results it will be able to introduce concepts and methodologies developed in the
framework of the project and revise teaching curriculum, especially in the field of uncertainty
quantification and reliability analysis which can be of interest in several different fields of the
electrical engineering.
In order to reach the impact described it is essential to support the exploitation of the project
results. This must be done involving a number of stakeholders, mainly from the Aeronautics,
Research and Educational communities.
All those stakeholders must be made aware first of the project implementation and, after, of the
project results, in terms of actual possibility and difficulties identified by the use of the statistical
and of cable-bundles modelling methods. Dissemination and communication actions will be
tailored specifically to address such an objective. An effective exploitation of ANALYST results
is, then, strictly related to the effectiveness of the dissemination and communication strategy
implemented.

9. CONCLUSION AND ANALYSIS
This document has been defined to ensure that the project results and knowledge will be made
available in the most appropriate way to the stakeholders (i.e. Industrials, academics and research
centres). All the partners should now be aware of the planned dissemination activities and events
to which they are required to contribute, to dissemination channels and available dissemination
material.
