Rita Cetina Gutiérrez, is a Mexican woman of the nineteenth century who stood out for her work as an educator and pioneer of feminism in Mexico. In the area of the literary, we place it in the constellation of writers who contributed to forming Patrias Letters considered the last romantic stage. However, even our studies had not been recognized and known as one of the founding writers of the nineteenth century and who is also part of the women who make up female literature in Mexico and Latin America. The great merit of Rita is that although at first she had to hold on to literary paternity, like many of her kind, later took the reins of her own projects and thus marked the gap not only for her but for every woman interested In taking the pen that if not denied, was covered with the veil of invisibility. For this reason, in this article we make a biographical journey whose data have been reconfigured and updated thanks to our research, interlacing samples of his vast literary work ranging from poetry, essay, fables, articles, stories and a novel, which makes it a prolific writer.

Se entiende por Querelle des femmes un movimiento que se inicia en el s. XV con la publicación de la obra La cité des femmes de Christine de Pizan, que para la crítica inicia el debate de la igualdad intelectual de las mujeres y la defensa de sus derechos en una época histórica particularmente misógina, por lo que se ha considerado la primera obra feminista. Sin embargo, creemos que el debate se inicia unos siglos antes, con los textos poéticos de las trobairitz (s. XII-XIII), en la escuela cortés, como precursoras de la Querelle.

In contrast to the traditional image of the trobairitz offered by the great contemporaneous medieval songbooks, the so-called Béziers Songbook (late 17th-early 18th century) looks at three of the major female troubadours (Comtessa de Dia, Azalais de Porcairagues, and Castelloza) from an unusual angle, which this paper analyses from an iconographical viewpoint focused on gestural symbolism.
