Thailand has a rapidly growing pharmaceutical sector, which is the eighth largest in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the largest and most developed among the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries. This study examines how to provide the most appropriate approach to enhance Thailand's pharmaceutical services to dispense medicine to end consumers. The main objective is to determine the most appropriate corporate image for Thai Pharmacy Retail Stores (PRSs) for entering the ASEAN market community. An exploratory mixed-method design characterized by qualitative and quantitative phases of data collection and analysis and the linking of data from these two separate data strands was adopted to conduct an in-depth interview with pharmacists and the owner of pharmacy retail stores as well as 405 respondents who had visited a pharmacy retail store and interacted with pharmacists during the previous year. The multiple linear regression (MLR) was applied to analyze the relative influences of perceived service quality and the cultural dimension on the corporate image. Findings reveal that the perceived service quality and cultural dimension contribute 50% towards the corporate image, and the perceived service quality had more effect than cultural dimension. This study mainly focuses on PRSs in Thailand, while the findings show other analyses concerning how to successfully create and promote an effective PRS image for ASEAN markets.

Since its introduction, television has been the main channel of investment for advertisements in order to influence customers purchase behavior. Many have attributed the mere exposure effect as the source of influence in purchase intention and purchase decision; however, most of the studies of television advertisement effects are not only outdated, but their sample size is questionable and their environments do not reflect reality. With the advent of the internet, social media and new information technologies, many recent studies focus on the effects of online advertisement, meanwhile the investment in television advertisement still has not declined. In response to this, we applied machine learning algorithms SVM and XGBoost, as well as Logistic Regression, to construct a number of prediction models based on at-home advertisement exposure time and demographic data, examining the predictability of Actual Purchase and Purchase Intention behaviors of 3000 customers across 36 different products during the span of 3 months. If we were able to predict purchase behaviors with models based on exposure time more reliably than with models based on demographic data, the obvious strategy for businesses would be to increase the number of adverts. On the other hand, if models based on exposure time had unreliable predictability in contrast to models based on demographic data, doubts would surface about the effectiveness of the hard investment in television advertising. Based on our results, we found that models based on advert exposure time were consistently low in their predictability in comparison with models based on demographic data only, and with models based on both demographic data and exposure time data. We also found that there was not a statistically significant difference between these last two kinds of models. This suggests that advert exposure time has little to no effect in the short-term in increasing positive actual purchase behavior.

In today's competitive business environment, evaluation and analysis of service quality of service organizations is vital to further improve quality of providing service by the organizations. The present study focuses on the evaluation of service quality of container terminal operators as these organizations play a major role in increase of national economy. Service quality evaluation process makes use of SERVQUAL tool for service quality evaluation of container terminal operators. Customized questionnaire for 20 enablers of 5 dimensions of service quality are prepared and distributed to 25 customers of 12 container terminal operators in India. Weights of dimensions and enablers pertaining to service quality of container terminal operators are determined through Attribute Hierarchy Model (AHM) to avoid consistency check, present in standard AHP method. TOPSIS and GRP methods are implemented to evaluate service quality of container terminal operators and composite rank is arrived. Consistency in the ranking is observed in the ranking patterns obtained by the proposed methods.

The main scientific objective of the article is to demonstrate, on the example of accommodation service, the possibility of applying the netnographic methodology and meme theory in the context of the analysis of the manner of perception of the quality of a service. The cause-and-effect relationship between the service quality and the formation of memetic transfer was defined, which, through the creation of specific consumer expectations, can contribute to the creation of a positive image of the service provider. The obtained results will provide a theoretical basis for an innovative model for the management of the quality of service.

Ports play a critical role in the economy of many countries and regions. Failure or unreliability of port services can significantly influence port customers—shipping lines and cargo owners—and result in their dissatisfaction. However, what constitutes port service quality (PSQ) and its influence on the satisfaction of port customers has not been well investigated in the literature. Therefore, this study investigates the concept of PSQ and its influence on customer satisfaction in the case of Korean container ports. Following a literature review, a conceptual model of PSQ and its influence on customer satisfaction is proposed. The model was validated through a survey of 313 members of the Korean Port Logistics Association (KPLA). Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was conducted to confirm the PSQ dimensions and to examine their relationship with customer satisfaction using SmartPLS 3.2.1 software. PSQ is found to be a five-factor construct, and its management, and image and social responsibility factors have significant positive effects on customer satisfaction. In addition to its academic contribution, this study also contributes to management practices because port managers can use the PSQ scale to measure their customers’ satisfaction and justify investments in the quality management of port services.

The importance of social media is increasing rapidly in the business world as in the lives of individuals. However, business-to-business (B2B) markets have difficulties in adapting to the newest 21st-century forms of communication. This study evaluates the current social media behaviors of container shipping companies to help practitioners increase their engagement in relation to the algorithms of these platforms. After identifying container shipping companies that use social media most actively, this study analyzed their Facebook messages in terms of branding, message appeals, direct-sales, and information cues, drawing on WOM psychological motivation theory and dual process theory. The study reveals that most companies do not use social media technology, and lack clear, generally accepted social media strategies. The analysis indicates that the inclusion of emotional appeals increases the engagement level of the messages but direct-calls-to-purchase decreases. Video and photo contents produce better engagement while video content increases virality. Finally, the number of fans of these companies no longer directly affects the engagement rate of posts with Facebook's changing News Feed algorithm. This means that the current engagement rate calculation methods in the literature have become obsolete. It is recommended that practitioners closely follow the ever-changing algorithms of social media channels and should not hesitate to use social media advertising.

Purpose - Capturing the shifting consumer behavior perspective on online transportation network performance in Indonesia, this study aims to empirically examine the impact of electronic customer relationship management (e-CRM) and e-service quality on customer e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - A quantitative approach was applied, and then we determined the respondents who met the predetermined criterion by using purposive sampling method. In total, 167 online transportation customer in Indonesia participated in this electronic questionnaire survey. To tested the collected data, Partial Least Square (PLS) - (SEM) analytical tools were employed. Results and Findings - There are five hypotheses proposed in this study and state that only one hypothesis is rejected, The dominant relationship between variables in the hypothesis is shown in the variable relationship of e-service quality on e-satisfaction. CRM, Service Quality, Satisfaction and Loyalty implemented comprehensively in cyberspace provides a clear picture for academics but also for practitioners who are struggling in the service industry that specifically appoints online transportation business. The findings of this research provide both managerial and theoretical implications to maintain customer e-loyalty in online transportation network business environment in Indonesia.

This study empirically examines the influence of after delivery services on customer perception of satisfaction, trust, and repurchase intention. Data from 262 survey respondents, analyzed through structural equation modeling, indicate three critical after service factors related to customer satisfaction: product exchange, returns, and refunds. Analyses also indicate significant mediating effects of customer satisfaction and trust with after delivery services upon repurchase intention. Results reveal that customer satisfaction with services also mediate the relationship between after delivery services and consumers’ trust in the retailer. The findings suggest implications for management and future research directions.

Introduction: Considerable research supports a positive association between the safety climate (which is a direct organizational factor) and safety performance (such as safe driving). However, indirect organizational variables that influence safe driving have gone largely unexplored. This study contributes to safety research by examining the relationship between organizational justice, which is a distal organizational factor, and traffic accidents and the mediating role of job satisfaction. Method: 233 occupational drivers employed by taxi and bus companies in South Korea participated in the study. Regression analysis was conducted using police records on participants' on-the-job traffic accidents. Results: The analysis shows that the mediation model is statistically significant. That is, drivers with a lower level of perceived organizational justice showed a higher frequency of traffic accidents, and the mediating effect of job satisfaction was also significant. Based on the results, implications and limitations are discussed. Practical applications: The findings demonstrate that in order to decrease traffic accidents, transportation companies would benefit by examining distal factors such as organizational justice. This approach suggests that the conventional framework for safety management should be broadened to include aspects of the entire organization.

With the development of network technology, users looking for information may send a request to various selected databases and then inspect multiple result lists. To avoid the need for inspecting multiple result lists, the database merging strategy merges the retrieval results produced by separate, autonomous servers into an effective, single ranked list. Our study deals with a particular aspect of this merging process, whereby only the rank of the retrieved records is available, and where a key points to different result lists. On the basis of this rather limited information, this paper describes the theoretical foundation and retrieval performance of our database merging approach based on logistic regression.
