Abstract

We are pleased to announce a Kapouscinski Development Lecture on Thursday 25 February at 17:00 which is co-organized by INECOL the I-GAMMA program and the GAMMA-UL Chair in Regional Integration and Sustainability. This lecture will be given by Wanjira Mathai. Speakers are high level practitioners or internationally recognized scholars in the field of development. Wanjira Mathai is Vice president and Regional Director for Africa at the World Resources Institute. Previously served as Sr. Partnership Advisor, Strategy and Advocacy at wPOWER – Partnership on Women’s Entrepreneurship in Renewables and WRI’s Senior Advisor to the Global Restoration Initiative. She is the current chairperson of the Wangari Maathai Foundation and the former Chairperson of the Green Belt Movement in Kenya.
