Visual landscape character has a significant effect on people's recreational activity preferences. The more natural, different, diverse, harmonious, intriguing, mysterious, perspective, reassuring, and regular the landscape structure of an area is, the higher visual value it provides. In this context , the role of landscape esthetical quality in environmental management should be taken into consideration and the visual esthetical structure of the landscape should be included in planning decisions.
