(54) ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE TEXTILE YARN
(57) Abstract:
FIELD: textile industr y.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry,
in particular, to production of electroconductive yarn
for fabrication of textile products from it. According to
the invention, electrically conducting textile yarn is
made by combined twisting of cotton fiber with nickel-
plated electrically conducting polyacrylonitrile fiber
with nickel metal content from 4 to 16.8 %, note here
that electrically conductive polyacrylonitrile fiber is
stapled along length of cotton fiber, while ratio of
electroconductive polyacrylonitrile fiber to cotton fiber
makes 40 and 60 % respectively.
EFFECT: simplification of production of yarn with
expanded functionality at simultaneous preservation of
electromagnetic radiation shielding capacity after 100
cycles of machine washing.
