... [Show full abstract] patients were divided in two groups, control and experimental (C and I, respectively). The changes in the clinical results of glycaemia in fast, post-prandial glycaemia and glycosylated hemoglobin of the two groups were appraised in the study. The results showed that, in the first three months, reduction of the glycaemia levels was observed, but only by the sixth month it showed to be statistically different (p=0,05) between groups C and I. In conclusion, the present work emphasizes the importance of the pharmacist interventions to the patients who are bearers of chronic diseases, as the Diabetes, with pharmacotherapy follow-up, for the improvement of health conditions.
