Abstract

[The life and works of the stained-glass windows of Guadalajara's Cathedral] This article in the co-authored book about Guadalajara's Cathedral explores the material origin and iconography of the stained-glass windows in the building. Through archival research, we discover that the main windows were custom-made in France, while the nave windows were made in Mexico by Claudio Pellandini. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Este artículo publicado en el volumen coordinado por Arturo Camacho sobre la Catedral de Guadalajara, exploro el origen material y la iconografía de los vitrales del recinto. A través de fuentes documentales descubrimos que el conjunto principal de ventanas fue mandado a hacer a la medida a Francia, mientras que los vitrales de las naves fueron hechos en México por Claudio Pellandini.
