INTRODUCTION
Marketers and manufacturers require to rethink about their marketing strategies as the consumer be-
havior have been changed due to the advancement of web-based platforms (Tiago & Veríssimo, 2014;
Järvinen & Karjaluoto,2015). It has been well established that internet has changed the structure of
marketing channels, especially in reaching towards the end consumers (Mols, 2007). However, from
small medium enterprise to large multinationals can’t think of their marketing strategies without the
help of digital marketing platforms (Shuen, 2018). Digital marketing is not the way to boost traditional
marketing platforms, rather it’s a new approach in the digital world (Taiminen & Karjaluoto, 2015). It was
estimated that in 2020, 2 billion consumers around the world will be carrying out 13.5% of transaction
online (www.roobykon.com). From the report of Statista, total transactions through the digital payments
will reach US$4,769,370m in 2020 that shows a YoY increase of over 15%, due to the global outbreak
of Covid-19, the transaction ratio is increased than before (Patel, 2020). Information technology and

Digital Marketing refers to the practical and comprehensive use of internet, digital media platforms, and
marketing tools to achieve the utmost success in business in a form of omnichannel marketing (Chaffey
& Ellis-Chadwick, 2019; Morris, 2009).
As a result of technological advancement and the development of communication technologies, real-
world relationships have been transferred to the virtual periphery. Due to the blessings of internet, people
around the world became an online community, and it has established a cross-border relationship across
the globe (Tiago & Veríssimo, 2014). This successive movement of free-world relationship through the
internet paves the way for the marketers to reach their ultimate consumers.

This study aimed to demonstrate the impact of digital marketing and evaluate the level of use through its strategies of search engine optimisation, search engine marketing, marketing content creation, social media marketing, mobile marketing, and email marketing on the market share of five-star hotels in Jordan. The current study focuses on the importance of digital marketing in the tourism industry. Both current and potential tourists depend on digital communication tools to obtain information about services, products, promotions and other related details online. Digital marketing allows for personalised communications and offers, but it is necessary to understand its types and value in tourism activities. As the industry becomes more complex and competitive, traditional marketing methods may no longer be sufficient. Therefore, tourism companies rely heavily on information and communications technology and work with global digital networks to distribute and sell their products. Effective digital marketing strategies are essential for increasing online exposure and attracting potential customers. The study adopted the descriptive and analytical field approach to collect data from the study sample of marketing managers, reservations and sales managers, and other participants in the marketing process. Moreover, the population consisted of all leadership and supervisory positions in twenty-one five-star hotels in Jordan, withapproximately 500 employees. The sample selected was 222 employees. The author also used the PLS‒SEM technique to analyse the data. This finding revealed that dimensions such as email marketing have a significant and positive effect on the market share of five-star hotels in Jordan. Similarly, mobile marketing, search engine marketing and social media marketing also have significant positive effects on the market share of the hotels studied. On the other hand, the results did not show that marketing content creation and search engine optimisation had no noticeable effect on market share. Furthermore, more studies on search engine optimisationand the creation and promotion of attractive marketing content are recommended, given the inability of the current study to prove its impact on market share. It also recommends that hotels strengthen their digital strategy to keep pace with rapid developments and the strength of competition across networks.

Cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly integrating the global economy. Research has presented some solutions for the challenges and barriers in cross-border e-commerce from the perspective of the enterprise. However, little is known about the requirements of cross-border e-commerce talents and how to train them. In this paper, we firstly conducted semi-structured interviews to acquire the requirements of cross-border e-commerce talents. Business and market knowledge, technical skills, analytical ability and business practical ability were found to be the four core requirements. Then, we integrated problem-based learning and social media to design a talents training model for cross-border e-commerce and did a program to evaluate effectiveness of the model. Finally, its effectiveness was evaluated from the four evaluation dimensions of attitude, perceived enjoyment, concentration and work intention. The talents training model was improved according to the suggestions.

Finding an appropriate vacant lot to buy is one of the most important land marketing problems in Tehran, Iran. Typically, the land selection and purchase processes in Tehran city are based on face-to-face meetings. Despite the face-to-face land sale and purchase strategies, a few online geo-marketing or real-estate websites have been developed. However, these geo-marketing real-estate web services have two main limitations. The services have focused on simple searches and selections from a set of predefined land parcels according to some basic criteria, such as land price, area etc. They do not consider spatially explicit criteria and spatial analyses relevant to a land selection process (e.g. proximity to transportation stations). The services are lacking a proper scientific foundation for spatial multi-criteria selection of land parcels. Moreover, the alternative land parcels are dynamically created by new sellers. However, the services are hard-coded based on a set of predefined land parcels and fail to support evaluation of the parcels added by new owners. To overcome these limitations, the study proposes a geo-marketing decision support system by integrating geographic information system (GIS) and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) techniques into the web platform. The GIS-based MCDA tools provide appropriate analytical approaches and platforms to support decision makers/people in spatial decision-making processes based on individual values and interests. The paper demonstrates the implementation of a geo-marketing decision support system for land selection and purchase processes in district no. 22 of Tehran.

Blockchain is a decentralized transaction and data management technology developed first for Bitcoin cryptocurrency. The interest in Blockchain technology has been increasing since the idea was coined in 2008. The reason for the interest in Blockchain is its central attributes that provide security, anonymity and data integrity without any third party organization in control of the transactions, and therefore it creates interesting research areas, especially from the perspective of technical challenges and limitations. In this research, we have conducted a systematic mapping study with the goal of collecting all relevant research on Blockchain technology. Our objective is to understand the current research topics, challenges and future directions regarding Blockchain technology from the technical perspective. We have extracted 41 primary papers from scientific databases. The results show that focus in over 80% of the papers is on Bitcoin system and less than 20% deals with other Blockchain applications including e.g. smart contracts and licensing. The majority of research is focusing on revealing and improving limitations of Blockchain from privacy and security perspectives, but many of the proposed solutions lack concrete evaluation on their effectiveness. Many other Blockchain scalability related challenges including throughput and latency have been left unstudied. On the basis of this study, recommendations on future research directions are provided for researchers.

The divergent evolution of e-commerce has complicated its correspondingly logistics management. However, few studies have explored e-commerce logistics business models via big data analytics. Hence, this investigation explores e-commerce logistics business models from unstructured big data. Specifically, this work develops a hybrid content analytical model to scrutinize essential knowledge of e-commerce logistics. The empirical results of the proposed model incorporate theories of resource dependence theory (RDT) and innovation diffusion theory (IDT) to generate logistical strategies. Ten critical themes of e-commerce logistics from topic mining are "Southeast Asia's e-commerce logistics payments", "E-commerce order management", "E-commerce logistics cloud services", "E-commerce logistics package management", "Europe e-commerce trends", "India's e-commerce logistics", "E-commerce distribution management", "Tax policies", "E-commerce logistics platforms", and "E-commerce logistics networks". Moreover, the fundamental rule of "cross-border e-commerce logistics" is uncovered by the association rules model. The proposed hybrid content analytics framework provides a research foundation for e-commerce logistics management. Furthermore, e-commerce logistics can be implemented by vital strategies: "Establish inter-organizational and technical collaboration to create positive operations performance" and "Comprehend law, policy, and cultural differences to customize appropriate technologies of e-commerce logistics".

This chapter analyses factors influencing manufacturers’ adoption and implementation of Internet-based marketing channels, using models based on marketing channel and organizational innovation theory. Survey data from 1,163 Danish, Finnish, and Swedish manufacturers form the empirical basis for testing the models using LISREL analysis. The results stress that adoption of Internet-based marketing is influenced by willingness to cannibalize, management support, market pressure, and a firm’s knowledge of information technology. Willingness to cannibalize mediates the effects of future market orientation, ownership, specialised investments, and management support. This is mainly the case in small firms, as the importance of the various drivers and the adoption pattern vary between size categories. Market-pull factors have relatively more explanatory power in medium-sized and large companies.
