Nowadays, online media are one way that allows people to receive various information. Especially, for tourism promotion which is presented in the form of images or 3D models. These kinds of media have a great influence on tourist interesting and decision about each tourist attraction. The purpose of this research is divided into 3 parts: (1) to study how to photograph a bird's-eye view with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone (2) to taking a High-angle image for create a tourist attraction model in the form of 3D images and (3) to evaluate the performance of 3D public relations media with bird eye view shooting techniques through unmanned aircraft technology from an expert and evaluating the satisfactionwith this public relations media from the Provincial Tourism and Sports Office Staffs and tourists who used this media in order to improve the ability to publicize tourist attractions. From the evaluation results of the application performance by experts, it was found that the overall performance was at the high level with the mean of 3.80.When considering in each aspect, it was found that the shape of tourist attractions was at the high level at the average of 3.86 (S.D. = 0.65).The surface aspect of the model was at a high level at the mean of 3.53 (S.D. = 0.60) and the benefits and applications were at the high level at the average of 4.03 (S.D. = 0.60).

Drones are becoming popular in spatial mapping or survey. The use of drones survey can be seen from it low flying heights (capable to create a clear images), accessible on difficult or non-friendly vehicle access areas, faster data acquisition and higher data resolution henceforth improve the quality of the survey. However, this paper focuses on the post-processing of drone images for 3D surface modeling. With the motivation of producing better 3D models, four software packages are used for comparison. Those software packages are eyesMap3D, Drone Deploy, Agisoft PhotoScan and Pix4Dmapper. The equipment used to ensure a high level of quality model is the Leica GPS1200+ stationary GPS module and the DJI Phantom 4 PRO drone. The Leica GPS1200+ stationary GPS module were used to track the exact position of tie points on the ground. Meanwhile the DJI Phantom 4 PRO drone is used as data inputs (images) for the software packages stated. In addition, the drone is used to fly over a golf course, with a challenge of homogenous surface for 3D surface modeling. Based on the output, it shows that each software packages produces slightly different outputs. This paper summarizes the outputs and discusses the key elements in each software packages. This variation might be useful for future references in 3D surface modeling that can conform in different applications requirements.

One of the tools for optimal crop production is regular monitoring and assessment of crops. During the growing season of fruit trees, the bloom period has increased photosynthetic rates that correlate with the fruiting process. This paper presents the development of an image processing algorithm to detect peach blossoms on trees. Aerial images of peach (Prunus persica) trees were acquired from both experimental and commercial peach orchards in the southwestern part of Idaho using an off-the-shelf unmanned aerial system (UAS), equipped with a multispectral camera (near-infrared, green, blue). The image processing algorithm included contrast stretching of the three bands to enhance the image and thresholding segmentation method to detect the peach blossoms. Initial results showed that the image processing algorithm could detect peach blossoms with an average detection rate of 84.3% and demonstrated good potential as a monitoring tool for orchard management.

Accomplishing efficient communication on tourist markets means efficiently developing and operating a communication system, that is designing and implementing an adequate structure of communication activities. Tourist organizations must have a communication strategy according to communication activities’ target, global objectives pursued, communication targets aimed, communication media used and contents of transmitted messages and, last but not least, resources allocated to implement communicational procedures. In order to attract consumers on a highly competitive market, there are several management-marketing instruments of which some are public relations whose role is to create a positive image of a tourist organization and, implicitly, of its products and services.
