Abstract
Rooftop solar power plant provide several benefits such as self-reliance in
electricity in a cost effective manner, insurance against future increases in
electricity tariff, environment sustainability utilizing unused roof space. This plant
is of 2KW, in which we are connecting all our level-4 electrical load on the solar
panel. We are trying to consume more energy from the sun and utilize it for our
electricity demand. The components are used in this system are six 325W solar

1. Introduction To Solar Power
Solar energy is the energy that is used by
eve spinning systems to radiate heat and
energy from the sun. Solar photovoltaic,
solar architecture comparable to solar
heating. Fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas,
and coal have historically met the world's
electrical needs[1-2]. However, these energy
sources have two major negative impacts:
They play a larger role in global warming
and acid rain runoff, which has a negative
effect on the atmosphere for many animals,
plants and human beings.
Few countries have complete access to
fossil-fuel energy supplies, contributing to
global political and economic uncertainty.
Solar energy is the perfect option, and is a
renewable fuel, meaning it won't become
inaccessible. It offers a constant, limitless
supply over time. Energy is also a green
energy source, since it does not release
toxins during the process of energy
production as shown in Figure 1. [3]

Indian scenario
As on the Gregorian calendar month, India
is stratified eleventh in world solar energy
production. August 2014. In the Asian
country, government-funded solar power
accounted for just six.4MW / yr. As of 2005,
of strength. Twenty-five.1MW of capacity
was additional in 2010, and 468.3MW in
2011. Capacity rises twice over in 2012 and
becomes 1205 MW. Additional capacity of
1114MW across 2013, and additional
capacity of 313MW across 2014.
In August 2015, the capacity for solar power
linked to the grid is 4.22 GW. Solar power's
value has dropped back from Rs. 17.90 per
unit in 2010 to Rs. 7 per unit in 2015. It is
expected that solar energy will be able to
achieve grid parity by 2017-18 with
technological development and market
rivalry as shown in Figure 2. The parity of
the grid means that the value of electricity
produced from energy is equal to the value
of the grid purchasing power.
Grid parity within the scheme and preferably
electric phenomenon panel is extremely vital
term. The Charanka star park, currently 224

3. Problem Formulation and Objectives
Nowadays, the whole world is using
electricity and without it, it is impossible to
imagine a life. Electricity dependency is
being growing day by day. Coal and oil are
the main sources of energy production, both
generating emissions and impacting on the
environment. Through depending on these
non-renewable energy sources, electricity
costs can rise exponentially, and potentially
become too costly to build into power
stations. And as these are renewable sources
means they will definite finished in 30-40
years. To solve these cost and pollution
issues the focus is giving to solar energy and

The optimal tilt angle of photovoltaic panels plays a crucial role in energy generation. However, the accumulation of dust on solar panels can significantly impact their performance and efficiency, leading to a reduction in energy production. Therefore, it is crucial to consider the effect of dust deposition on the optimal tilt angle of solar panels. Regarding panel installation, it is often observed that panels are positioned to follow the natural slope of the roofs, disregarding the optimal angle for maximizing solar radiation utilization. Numerous studies have investigated the impact of dust accumulation on the performance of photovoltaic panels and the optimal inclination angle for different regions and seasons. This study aims to analyze the optimal tilt angle of photovoltaic panels for maximum energy generation, considering undesired effects such as dust, dirt, water droplets, and other atmospheric factors. The authors have proposed an equation to calculate the optimal tilt angle of photovoltaic panels based on a case study conducted in different Rio de Janeiro City regions. The methodology employed in this study involves estimating solar incidence on the surface of the photovoltaic panels using the authors' proposed equation, which considers the latitude and longitude of the panel installation location. The results obtained were validated using software that generates hourly solar radiation data. The results indicate that an inclination of 30 degrees, calculated using the proposed equation, resulted in a 2% deviation from the optimal theoretical angle.

TRNSYS® software simulates a parabolic trough collector (PTC) with a phase change material (PCM) solar water heating system. The simulation predicts hot water supply during morning and evening peak demand. The main heat transfer fluid (HTF) in PTC is lauric acid (LA), whereas the secondary HTF is water. The research simulates a medium-temperature, concentrated parabolic trough collector without solar tracking. TRNSYS® simulation components have been fully explored utilizing a Type 1245 parabolic trough collector with a Type 533 horizontal storage tank with heat exchangers, which meets home and industrial hot water needs. The storage tank is vertically stratified to adjust the HTF temperature from the collector. The findings indicated that LA, with a thermal conductivity of 0.862 kJ/h-mK, gives a peak energy gain of 17,600 kJ/h in February and 4000 kJ/h in July, and a 950 F temperature increase for Chandigarh, India. The city’s weather yields 24% yearly collector efficiency.

Classically electricity storage for PV panels is mostly designed for stand-alone applications. In contrast, we focus in this article on houses connected to the grid with a small-scale storage to store a part of the solar power for postponed consumption within the day or the next days. In this way the house owner becomes less dependent on the grid and does only pay for the net shortage of his energy production. Local storage solutions pave the way for many new applications like omitting over-voltage of the line and bridging periods of power-line black-out. Since 2009 using self-consumption of PV energy is publicly encouraged in Germany, which can be realised by electric storage. This paper develops methods to determine the optimal storage size for grid-connected dwellings with PV panels. From measurements in houses we were able to establish calculation rules for sizing the storage. Two situations for electricity storage are covered: - the storage system is an optimum to cover most of the electricity needs; - it is an optimum for covering the peak power need of a dwelling. After these calculation rules a second step is needed to determine the size of the real battery. The article treats the aspects that should be taken into consideration before buying a specific battery like lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. (author)

The electricity consumption in Turkey increased on average 8.5% annually between 1990 and 2000, but decreased 1.2% in 2001 due to the economic crisis of 2000. The economic growth and electricity consumption are expected to continue in a similar rate of before the crisis in the coming years. Turkey is going through a change of policy in the energy sector, adopting a policy of privatisation. On the other hand, Turkey needs adaptations in the energy field for meeting the European standards as Turkey is seeking a full membership to the European Union. The alternative and renewable energy systems have been neglected so far in Turkey but must be included in the new energy programs. The renewable energy contribution in the total primary energy production is insignificant. The current installed photovoltaic capacity is in the level of a fraction of MW, which is tiny when compared to the solar energy potential in Turkey. In this article, a photovoltaic-house, which would have photovoltaic as the main energy source, is hypothetically designed to assess the techno-economic feasibility of grid-connected photovoltaic systems in Turkey. The grid electricity is used when the photovoltaic system fails to meet the required electricity. The performance of the photovoltaic system is simulated on an hourly basis to determine the autonomy level, using one year long hourly time-series solar radiation data of Ankara obtained from the Turkish State Meteorological Service. Then, some combinations of photovoltaics and grid electricity with different buy-back ratios are analysed.

With falling prices of solar cells, usage of solar electric energy is on the rise for various applications including remote area power supply. Manufacturers of solar electric equipment often test their equipment in factory on ordinary DC power supply. If given a chance, they would surely like to test it on solar panel to certify their product such as maximum power tracker. A simple visual C++ program can give an excellent graphic user interface (GUI) and control normal DC power supply output using PC printer port to exactly simulate solar panel characteristics.
