Wissenschaftliche Betrachtung der letzten Tage des Zweiten Weltkrieges in Süddeutschland mit Schwerpunkt auf den Vorgängen in Ingolstadt und München. Dabei wird auf die Schaffung "nützlicher" Helden in der Nachkriegszeit eingegangen, die ihre eigene Rolle im Endkampf des Dritten Reiches verzerrt darstellten, um sich nach dem Krieg profilieren zu können. New Belgrade was founded after the World War II, in a broad river depression, on a spacious former marshland subsequently covered with 3 m layer of sand. Today New Belgrade covers around 4000 hectares and has near 300 000 inhabitants. It is settled on the alluvial deposit of sand, gravel and clay. Soils in the floodplain of the lower Morava River were studied in detail during the field investigations undertaken in the years 1992-1993. Most frequent are Fluvisols predominating in within-dike areas and Phaeozems occurring in more remote and elevated parts of the floodplain. Man has influenced soils above all by the exploitation of loam and gravel, and for agriculture, and polluted them by industrial, agricultural, and household wastes.
