Using Discriminant Function to Classify the
Pregnants According to
Coopland Risk Scale
A linear discriminant function technique is used to classify the pregnant
women into three groups namely, severe, high, and low risk pregnancy. This
classication depends on risk scores that every pregnant could passes
through her pregnancy. It is shown that the classication, after dropping the
non signicant risk factors, in three groups is better than one.
