Seborrheic Dermatitis and Traditional Treatments
Abstract
Nowadays, people are increasingly looking for traditional remedies to treat the disease with the desire to reduce the harmful side effects caused by the body in modern medicines. For scalp inflammation, many people wonder about this cure with oriental medicine. This is a skin disease that causes a lot of troubles in life, so learning about information and how to treat scalp inflammation is something that almost everyone should know. Despite this, the patient can still completely reduce the symptoms, restore skin and enhance resistance against recurrent illness in the long run. One of the fastest ways to treat seborrheic dermatitis is to apply Western medicine products including topical creams and oral medications. Each treatment has its advantages and disadvantages. However, herbs which are being used by traditional medications always show their very special role in the treatment of disease. This article focuses on the use of natural herbs to bring a better life for patients, help them have a better skin, a pleasant spirit. This research paper was written in order to mention some effective solutions to make our life a better place and to contribute to the development of the country.

The study of pharmacological studies of the veterinary medicinal product for external use in the form of ointment – “Dibutalastin Ointment” is a mandatory stage of preclinical research of the drug, which is a new development of PP “Biopharm” and LLC “DEVIE”. In a scientific experiment on laboratory animals, it is possible to assess the drug's safety for different terms of use to determine the zone of toxic action and doses that do not cause harmful effects on health. Therefore, the work aimed to carry out pharmacological studies of the drug with methyl salicylate and dimethyl sulfoxide in the form of an ointment for treating European fallow deer, deer, dogs, and cats with mastitis, arthritis, myositis, and injuries of various origins. The toxicological characteristics of the studied ointment “Dibutalastin” based on methyl salicylate and dimethyl sulfoxide were studied in an "acute" study on warm-blooded animals. The average lethal dose (LD50) for intragastric administration could not be established, as the volume exceeded the permissible level. It was established that according to the “average lethal dose when entering the stomach” indicator, the veterinary medicinal product belongs to relatively non-toxic substances (toxicity class IV). The results of pharmacological studies indicate the absence of resorptive-toxic effects, sensitizing properties, and irritating effects on the mucous membranes of the eyes and skin. Pathomorphological studies of animal organs when studying the acute toxicity of the drug showed that the developed ointment with methyl salicylate and dimethyl sulfoxide does not cause pathological changes in internal organs. From the point of view of veterinary toxicology, this drug is safe. Further studies will be the next stage of pre-registration tests aimed at studying the embryotoxic effect of “Dibutalastin Ointment”, which is mandatory material of the “Safety and residue studies” section of the dossier for this medicinal product.

Clearly, it is difficult for doctors to detect the disease. As the disease progresses to the chronic stage, patients are at high risk for conditions such as cirrhosis, and even life-threatening liver cancer. The virus is transmitted through a variety of routes including blood sugar and unsafe sex and the disease can also be transmitted from mother to infant. Although there is a hepatitis B vaccine now, there are still many patients with the disease. In addition to Western medicine treatment, many herbal remedies for hepatitis B are also effective. The use of folk medicinal plants is also encouraged by its quite effective effect. The essence of these ingredients will slowly penetrate the liver cells and promote their ability to treat as well as help treat the damage caused by hepatitis B, while enhancing function and activity of the liver. The article discusses the advantages of this treatment as well as the natural ingredients so it is quite safe, does not cause side effects even when applied for a long time. These medicinal herbs are quite easy to find, often available around us, so save a lot of money for patients. Therefore, this is the recommended treatment for patients in the early stages, the symptoms are still simple.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis (SD) is common in Asia. Its prevalence is estimated to be 1-5% in adults. However, larger population-based studies into the epidemiology of SD in Asia are lacking, and the aetiology of SD may differ widely from Western countries and in different parts of Asia. In addition, clinically significant differences between Asian and Caucasian skin have been reported. There is a need to define standardized clinical diagnostic criteria and/or a grading system to help determine appropriate treatments for SD within Asia. With this in mind, experts from India, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Italy convened to define the landscape of SD in Asia at a meeting held in Singapore. The consensus group developed a comprehensive algorithm to aid clinicians to recommend appropriate treatment of SD in both adults and children. In most cases, satisfactory therapeutic results can be accomplished with topical antifungal agents or topical corticosteroids. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents with antifungal properties have been shown to be a viable option for both acute and maintenance therapy.
Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition in infants, adolescents, and adults. The characteristic symptoms-scaling, erythema, and itching-occur most often on the scalp, face, chest, back, axilla, and groin. Seborrheic dermatitis is a clinical diagnosis based on the location and appearance of the lesions. The skin changes are thought to result from an inflammatory response to a common skin organism, Malassezia yeast. Treatment with antifungal agents such as topical ketoconazole is the mainstay of therapy for seborrheic dermatitis of the face and body. Because of possible adverse effects, anti-inflammatory agents such as topical corticosteroids and calcineurin inhibitors should be used only for short durations. Several over-the-counter shampoos are available for treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, and patients should be directed to initiate therapy with one of these agents. Antifungal shampoos (long-term) and topical corticosteroids (short-term) can be used as second-line agents for treatment of scalp seborrheic dermatitis.
