Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the benefits of technology in a business
aspect nowadays. This type of research used descriptive method so that we could analyse the
importance of technology in the sector of business. The results show that this research can use
technology these days to help young businessmen or businesswomen who want to develop their
ability according to the times. The benefit of technology is that now it can support business
expansion. Besides doing business by utilising technology is useful because users can also learn
technology at the same time. This can provide convenience for users. The impact from the
utilisation of technology for business can also make the users take note to their accuracy that it
is easier for them to make decisions. So we can take out the benefit from technology for business
because it does not close the possibility of successful business for businessmen and
businesswomen.
1. Introduction
The development of the current era where technology becomes a necessity, especially for businessmens
today because it can promote their products using online methods, it can attract consumers to their
online shop. According to Lu et all recommend and provide online services to provide product
information in order to improve customer relations [1].
In Thailand has a positive attitude online shopping so that it can affect the intention of online buyers
as has been done by thananuraksakul [2]. Everyone uses the internet media for online shopping, like the
research there are seven factors that influence Chinese consumers online shopping and have risks,
service quality, product variations, and convenience [3]. Making trust for consumers so that consumers
are satisfied and provide positive support and provide a safe, friendly online shopping site [4]. Create a
market according to needs by giving profits to companies to make the business competition that
produces quality products and affordable markets [5]. Technology development is the main foundation
of doing business [6]. It can be a success factor for companies that run businesses with current trends
[7]. With a broad reach and can be done anytime anywhere and has many advantages that we can feel
we can make sales and marketing through cyberspace or business technology that is currently being
used. [8].
Companies prefer online businesses and transaction with electronic networks to increase consumer
loyalty in online shopping [9]. As well as smooth communication between users and privacy, it is
necessary to provide security and safety features [10]. The aim of this study is to find out and describe
the benefits of technology for business and the ease of business with technology today because current
technology can help businesses. Using this descriptive method to explain the superior product creation

and make it easier for consumers and sellers to see our business by generating good reviews from
consumers.
2. Method
This research used the descriptive method. Using descriptive methods can identify and introduce
businesses using technology and analyse how essential and influential technology is for businesses. By
using technology in business, it can be easier for them to be able to promote their products which are
connected to websites that technology-based and will display products that are needed in detail from
the product, the material and so on which can make it easier for prospective customers to choose and
fulfil their needs also make it easier for sellers to not incur large costs. It turns out that there are still
many business people who still do not use technology in their business and still consider using
technology to be difficult. Therefore we need to introduce business people to using technology not only
in offline business.
3. Results and Discussion
In order to attract the attention of technology connoisseurs with business, we need to create a business
that uses attractive technology by making it easier for prospective sellers to see our business activity
and interested in joining us [11]. It is necessary to create a business page that is easy, fast, detailed and
precise on every product.
An example is the mobile phone business by offering various types of mobile phones with detailed
explanations and can attract the attention of consumers and provide convenience in transactions, namely
by using various payment options such as ATM transfers, payments at minimarket and pay at the
consumer's place guaranteed security and guaranteed security on delivery.
See Figure 1; consumers can order products that they want with technology anywhere and anytime
because technology provides convenience, indirectly proven consumers use online technology that is
easily accessible on various devices.

4. Conclusion
Technology is now growing very fast and can help us in opening up new business or job opportunities.
In modern times technology now can provides convenience for people who want to do business,
especially young sellers because it is easier, more comfortable, more efficient and economical. It is
suitable for consumers that enjoy the convenience of purchasing products and with detailed product so
that they can know and compare with other products. Technology nowadays offers transactions with
easy payments such as transfers and six other payment methods that have been provided which can be
done anywhere and anytime. Then, in terms of security is guaranteed to avoid fraud because Shopee
will identify it if that happens. Business competition in technology like this is very competitive.
Therefore we need to create a business that attracts enthusiasts such as following the times and
creatively so as not to lose out in competing with other same businessmen using this technology.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the production of Indonesian preserved soybean (tauco) from engineering and economic perspectives. To ensure the feasibility study for the possibility profit in this production, various raw material quantities were tested in the evaluation process. In short of the process, we evaluated the production of tauco using dual fermentation processes. The first fermentation was used for the yeast process, whereas the second was for the brine fermentation to give a distinctive flavor and aroma to tauco product. Several economic evaluation parameters were analyzed to inform the potentiality of the tauco production, including gross profit margin, break even point, net present value, and so on. The engineering analysis showed that production of tauco can be done in the variation of initial soybean from 20 to 100 kg. This inform that present tauco production can be produced in the home industry and micro-scale production. To get excellent profit, economic analysis showed the minimum soybean must be more than 60 kg. We believe that this study will be important in introducing one of the Indonesian local wisdom foods for strengtening economy.

Recommender system is the backbone of e-commerce marketing strategies. Popular e-commerce websites use techniques like memory-based collaborative filtering approach based on user similarity with only rank as an attribute. This paper proposes a model-based collaborative filtering recommender system based on probabilistic model using improved Naive Bayes algorithm. Proposed system uses Naive Bayes algorithm with bigram language model to improve search query analysis. Therefore, search query, click time and query time are used as features for Naive Bayes algorithm model. This model is trained on 1.2 million customer data over a 3-month period for 1.8 million products. Proposed system predicts the probability of products and products will be recommended to the user to make top-N recommendations. Results of the proposed system show the model recommends products with 14% more accuracy as compared to simple Naive Bayes model.

Driven by recent trends, effective compliance control has become a crucial success factor for companies nowadays. In this context, compliance monitoring is considered an important building block to support business process compliance. Key to the practical application of a monitoring framework will be its ability to reveal and pinpoint violations of imposed compliance rules that occur during process execution. In this context, we propose a compliance monitoring framework that tackles three major challenges. As a compliance rule can become activated multiple times within a process execution, monitoring only its overall enforcement can be insufficient to assess and deal with compliance violations. Therefore, our approach enables to monitor each activation of a compliance rule individually. In case of violations, we are able to derive the particular root cause, which is helpful to apply specific remedy strategies. Even if a rule activation is not yet violated, the framework can provide assistance in proactively enforcing compliance by deriving measures to render the rule activation satisfied.

A recommender system aims to provide users with personalized online product or service recommendations to handle the increasing online information overload problem and improve customer relationship management. Various recommender system techniques have been proposed since the mid-1990s, and many sorts of recommender system software have been developed recently for a variety of applications. Researchers and managers recognize that recommender systems offer great opportunities and challenges for business, government, education, and other domains, with more recent successful developments of recommender systems for real-world applications becoming apparent. It is thus vital that a high quality, instructive review of current trends should be conducted, not only of the theoretical research results but more importantly of the practical developments in recommender systems. This paper therefore reviews up-to-date application developments of recommender systems, clusters their applications into eight main categories: e-government, e-business, e-commerce/e-shopping, e-library, e-learning, e-tourism, e-resource services and e-group activities, and summarizes the related recommendation techniques used in each category. It systematically examines the reported recommender systems through four dimensions: recommendation methods (such as CF), recommender systems software (such as BizSeeker), real-world application domains (such as e-business) and application platforms (such as mobile-based platforms). Some significant new topics are identified and listed as new directions. By providing a state-of-the-art knowledge, this survey will directly support researchers and practical professionals in their understanding of developments in recommender system applications.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to provide a better picture of factors influencing behavioral decisions in online shopping by identifying different targets of trust and discussing their antecedents and outcomes. Design/methodology/approach – Online survey data from 242 ihergo members were used to test the proposed model, and structural equation modeling with partial least squares was performed to analyze the measurement and structural models. Findings – The findings show that the four types of trust identified in this study are critical determinants of perceived risk and attitude. In addition, the majority of the antecedents are found to be associated with their respective types of trust. Research limitations/implications – The research extends the theory of reasoned action and prior research to discuss four types of consumer trust, as well as their respective antecedents and subsequent consequences. The result is a more descriptive model that better explicates consumers’ decision-making processes in online shopping. Practical implications – Given the intense competition between online shopping sites, web site managers should strive to provide a safe and user-friendly shopping environment. In addition, the vendor can enhance trust by encouraging satisfied customers to provide positive endorsements. Originality/value – This study is possibly the first of its kind, in identifying the four types of trust and their respective antecedents in the context of an online group-buying auction, and thus serves to enrich the existing literature concerning trust-building factors.
The Internet is a global communication medium that is increasingly being used worldwide as an innovative tool for marketing goods and services. At the end of 2010, Internet users in China reached 420 million. However, online shopping in China is not widely practiced and organisations investing in B2C online shopping need to understand the factors that affect Chinese consumers′ online buying behaviour. This research develops a theoretical research model as a framework to identify the key decision factors influencing Chinese consumers′ to shop, or not to shop online. A self-administered questionnaire was used to gather information from 435 respondents in Beijing, China. The empirical analysis identifies and ranks seven important decision factors: perceived risk, consumer resources, service quality, subjective norms, product variety, convenience, and website factors. All of these decision factors impact on Chinese consumers′ adoption of online shopping. Moreover, managerial implications and recommendations are also presented.

This paper explores the role of the business model in capturing value from early stage technology. A successful business model creates a heuristic logic that connects technical potential with the realization of economic value. The business model unlocks latent value from a technology, but its logic constrains the subsequent search for new, alternative models for other technologies later on-an implicit cognitive dimension overlooked in most discourse on the topic. We explore the intellectual roots of the concept, offer a working definition and show how the Xerox Corporation arose by employing an effective business model to commercialize a technology rejected by other leading companies of the day. We then show the long shadow that this model cast upon Xerox's later management of selected spin-off companies from Xerox PARC. Xerox evaluated the technical potential of these spin-offs through its own business model, while those spin-offs that became successful did so through evolving business models that came to differ substantially from that of Xerox. The search and learning for an effective business model in failed ventures, by contrast, were quite limited.
