In the context of the eLearning platform (Moodle 2.7) accessibility evaluation of the IPLeiria, where a web conferencing system (BigBlueButton) was integrated, we held a test session, with screen readers, on this platform to verify the accessibility of the interface and the features available to the audience and to the presenter. These accessibility tests were also performed to the Colibri service (meetings management platform and Adobe Connect), since this service is made available by the FCT/FCCN, free of charge, to the Portuguese higher education institutions. The following criteria were considered for choosing the best platform to be used in our institution: document and screen sharing, and recording features, as well as the accessibility to different user profiles and different technologies.
