This study aims to produce adaptive physical education learning products through general application in an independent curriculum. Lecturers can choose various teaching tools to adapt learning to the needs and interests of students. Projects to strengthen the achievement profile of Pancasila students are developed based on certain themes determined by the government. The method used is research and development, so data collection is supported by primary sources from sports research and development books and relevant research results. Because this study uses a qualitative approach, the instruments used in collecting research information are references found by the researchers themselves that are relevant to be presented in this study. Data analysis used small-scale tests and large-scale tests. Data reduction is used in the findings of expert statements and research published through articles. Then explained in short sentences. In the end, I obtained a conclusion statement from a conceptual study of research and development in sports science. The results of research on a limited scale by 30 sixth-semester students of the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation study program with 16 questions show 86% in the "Very Good" category. And for further research, hopefully, genially learning can develop in the world of education with researchers who want to take this title as well as effectively and efficiently. Buku ini merupakan karya anak bangsa, yang ditulis secara kolaboratif oleh para akadimisi dari berbagai perguruan tinggi keolahragaan nasional dan para praktisi bidang keolahragaan nasional. Gagasan penulisan kolaboratif ini muncul saat terjadi Pandemi Covid-19. Dimana para penulis melaksanakan semua aktifitas sehari-hari dari rumah “work from home”; bekerja dari rumah, belajar dari rumah, dan beribadah di rumah. Disaat semua akademisi dan praktisi menjalankan kegiatan sehari-hari dari rumah, muncul gagasan menerbitkan “tulisan bunga rampai” terkait situasi pandemi Covid-19 dan era New Normal. Kegamangan menghadapi situasi yang tidak menentu tersebut, menjadi ide dasar untuk dituangkan menjadi tulisan ilmiah populer. Topik-topik tulisan yang cukup menarik dari para penulis (dosen, mahasiswa, guru dan praktisi keolahragaan) tersebut muncul sebagai upaya membantu pemikiran menghadapi situasi yang berubah secara drastis. Semua kegiatan yang selama ini dilakukan secara ofline dengan ketemu langsung secara fisik, perkuliahan atau pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan; ketemu tatap muka, tugas terstruktur dan mandiri, saat ini harus dilakukan secara online sesuai dengan protokol Covid-19. Kegiatan olahraga yang biasanya dilakukan ketemu fisik, secara bersama-sama untuk cabang individual dan beregu, saat ini harus dilakukan sesuai dengan protokol Covid-19 (physical distancing, pakai masker dst.). Pandemi Covid-19 memunculkan budaya baru saat Covid-19 dan era New Normal. Buku ini berisi berbagai tulisan alternatif yang dapat dilakukan dan dimanfaatkan pleh para akademisi dan praktisi untuk mengisi ruang-ruang pembelajaran olahraga dengan seluruh aspek yang muncul selama Covid-19 dan era New Normal. Upaya menuangkan gagasan dalam bentuk tulisan tersebut dilakukan sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab para akademisi dan praktisi bidang olahraga untuk ikut memberikan warna berupa solusi. Gagasan yang muncul dalam setiap topik sangat menarik untuk dikaji dan dicermati dalam menghadapi situasi saat ini. Karya ini muncul disaat yang tepat, dimana saat pandemi Covid-19 para akademisi dan praktisi memiliki banyak waktu untuk bekerja dari rumah, sehingga kesempatan yang ada mampu dimanfaatkan untuk bekerja lebih produktif dengan cara menulis. Semoga terbitnya buku ini dapat mendorong lajunya literasi keolahragaan nasional.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran IPA menggunakan pendekatan metakognitif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah triangulasi mix method design. Dari hasil pengamatan, sejumlah 6 kelompok telah merespon pertanyaan, sehingga semua dapat dikatakan telah berpikir kritis karena dapat menginterpretasikan hasil pengamatan pada video dan dapat mempertimbangkan hasil percobaan sebelumnya. Penerapan pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan metakognitif dapat membuat siswa berpikir tentang perencanaan kerja sampai dengan pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi The purpose of this study is to develop a learning science using metacognitive approach to enhance the ability of critical thinking in students . The research method used is triangulation mixed method design. From the results, a number of 6 groups have responded to the question , so that all can be said to have critical thinking because it can interpret the results of observations on video and can consider the results of previous experiments. The application of science learning with metacognitive approach can make students think about the planning work to solving those problems.

Misconceptions in statistics among students of non-statistics major are quite common. This paper will present the humble efforts of the author in trying to reduce misconceptions among her statistics students using technology. The examples were drawn from the teaching and learning of statistics to Master of Technical and Vocational Education students in the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. EXCEL spreadsheet, power point presentation slides and a concept-mapping tool were integrated into classroom instructions on descriptive statistics. Increased class-room interactions were observed through out the learning process and a decrease in the percentage of students committing the specific misconceptions were recorded.

Scores from a revised version of the School Level Environment Questionnaire (SLEQ) were validated using a sample of teachers from a large school district. An exploratory factor analysis was used with a randomly selected half of the sample. Five school environment factors emerged. A confirmatory factor analysis was run with the remaining half of the sample. Goodness-of-fit indices indicated that the factor structure fit the data reasonably well. Further analyses using structural equation modeling techniques revealed that the Revised SLEQ worked equally well for all samples. Invariance testing showed that the fitted model and the estimated parameter values were statistically equivalent across all samples. Internal consistency estimates provided further evidence of the reliability of factor scores. In addition, an analysis of variance indicated that the instrument discriminated climate differences between schools. Results suggest that the Revised SLEQ provides a good tool for studying teachers' perceptions of school climate.

In this article, the authors review the literature regarding evidence-based psychological treatments (EBTs) for behavioral disturbances in older adults with dementia, as proposed by the American Psychological Association's Committee on Science and Practice of the Society for Clinical Psychology. Fifty-seven randomized clinical trials were reviewed for inclusion on the basis of titles or abstract information. Forty-three were excluded either because they did not meet EBT methodological criteria or because they involved environmental or psychoeducational nursing interventions in which the psychological component could not be separately evaluated. Fourteen studies were considered for inclusion as EBTs; of these, 8 showed significant differences between treatment and control groups. Results of this review indicate that behavioral problem-solving therapies that identify and modify antecedents and consequences of problem behaviors and increase pleasant events and individualized interventions based on progressively lowered stress threshold models that include problem solving and environmental modification meet EBT criteria. Additional randomized clinical trials are needed to evaluate the generalizability and efficacy of these and other promising psychological interventions in a variety of settings with individuals who have a range of cognitive, functional, and physical strengths and limitations.
