1. Enhancing the Quality of User Involved Care Planning in Mental Health Services (EQUIP): economic components

This is a 5 year research programme led by Professor Karina Lovell (http://www.nursing.manchester.ac.uk/equip/) and funded by the National Institute Health Research (NIHR). The aim of the economic s work is to: • Use stated preference methods to develop an understanding of user and carer preferences for different aspects of involvement in the care planning process • Use economic evaluation methods to assess the cost effectiveness of a user/carer-led training package for mental health professionals in the context of a cluster randomised controlled trial design to assess the effectiveness, feasibility and acceptability of this training. ...
