Abstract

The current study examined the possibility of treating the varicose veins that appear in mid-age women by the application of a program that includes a number of physical healthy exercises as a treatment during a limited period. The study was carried out using the experimental method. The studied samples included eight women with varicose veins whose working with stand for several hours and did not practice any type of exercise. Their ages ranged from 35 to 45 years. The sample number (22) Patient The results showed that there were a significant differences between the pre and post-exercises measurements for the symptoms of the disease, which involved the pain of legs, swelling, skin color change, the sense of discomfort and the appearance of the emergence of veins. The report of the doctor referred to the improvement of the examined cases after the treatment period. The table Z value of all tests was equal or smaller than the value of the table at the level of probability (0.05), that is, there are differences between the cases before the application of the program and after its application, which indicates the positive relationship with the exercises in healing and this was revealed by the decline of symptoms of the disease, there was an improvement in leg pain by 70%, decline of swelling of the legs by 26%, decline of skin color change by 16%, comfort sensation by 31%, improved external appearance of veins by 25%, and physician evaluation for improvement increased by 42%.
