SAŽETAK: Savremeno doba obilježeno tehničko-tehnološkom revolucijom i razvojem medija, koji omogućavaju masovnu komunikaciju, donosi nove vidove zabave i provođenja slobodnog vremena, kako djece i omladine, tako i odraslih ljudi. Video igre su zasigurno jedna od najkomercijalnijih, najzastupljenijih i najpopularnijih aktivnosti koje zaokupljaju pažnju čovječanstva, te su predmet neumornog propitivanje njihovog uticaja na korisnike, naročito one najmlađe. Privlače posebnu pažnju roditelja i učitelja, koji sa neskrivenom zabrinutošću, posmatraju taj još nedovoljno ispitan fenomen, te postavljaju brojna pitanja vezana za efekte igranja video igara na psihomotorički razvoj djece, usvajanje znanja, razvijanje njihovih vještina i navika. Rad objašnjava osnovne pojmove bitne za razumijevanje problematike, daje rezultate nekoliko naučnih istraživanja istraživanja koja se bave uticajem video igara na razvoj i ponašanje djece i omladine, na osnovu stručne i naučne relevantne literature ukazuje na najznačajnije pozitivne i negativne efekte igranja video igara i daje preporuku za dalju primjenu video igara. Parents and teachers are occupied especially with problems of video games, and they observe that isn´t reserched phenomenon enough, with unhidden worries, asking numbers of questions about efects of playing video games on psychomotor devolpment, knowledge acquisition, and devolpment of skills and habits. The paper explains the basic concepts relevant to the understanding of the problem, the results of several scientific researches dealing with the influence of video games on the development and behavior of children and young people, based on relevant and relevant relevant literature indicates the most significant positive and negative effects of video game play and gives a recommendation to they continue to apply video games. As all games, which importance in education and learning is good knowed to us, video games also have many advantages, positive effect on development many structure and skills, and if they are excellent and orientated designed, they make learning and comunication for student and adult person with various difficulties more easier.
