Abstract
This is a course presents lecture notes on General Physics (2) for Sciences and Engineering Faculties.
General physics 2 gives the concepts and applications of the physics concepts in sciences and engineering. This lectures presented topics of Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics. I hope it to be a good course for our students in Engineering faculties. It is essential that the students understand the basic concepts and principles before attempting to solve assigned problems. You can best accomplish this goal by carefully reading the textbook before you attend your lecture on the covered material. When reading the text, you should jot down those points that are not clear to you.
These Lecture notes based on Physics for Scientists and Engineers by Serway and its Power point slides from Cengage Learning Company, and then they edited by including concepts, examples, and solved problems.

Let us consider afar sighted eye with a near point of 2.0 m. what power lens will let this person read comfortably at 0.25 m? The strength of a good eye focused at 0.25 m is given by 1/F=(1/0.25)+ ( 1/ 0.02) = 4+ 50 =54D. An eye focused at 2m has a strength of
