Abstract

The process of academic, professional and labor training within the framework of strategic alliances between institutions and organizations for the convergence of human capital in intangible assets is the objective of this work. A documentary study was carried out with a non-probabilistic selection of sources indexed to international repositories, considering the publication period from 2015 to 2019, as well as the type of literature for its meta-analysis. A prevalence of academic habitus was found as an antecedent and explanatory determinant as predictive of innovation, collaboration and competitiveness.

This paper examines the relationship among learning orientation, market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation and how these affect firm performance in a transition economy like in Vietnam. A model incorporating the key determinants was tested with a sample of 642 owners, senior managers and CEOs in Vietnam marketing communications firms. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the collected data. The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation have a positive impact on firm performance. However, the relationship between learning orientation and firm performance in Vietnam marketing communications firms is not significant. In addition, the results also suggest that senior managers, CEOs, as well as owners in Vietnam marketing communications firms should recognize the importance of concepts in dynamic capabilities to improve their competitiveness into the market-orientation economy. A major limitation of this study is the examination of only three concepts that impact on Vietnam marketing communications firm performance: entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation and learning orientation. Several other concepts of dynamic capabilities may be investigated in other industries apart from marketing communication firms.

Introduction: The current study explores the level of Turkish prospective and current early childhood teachers sense of teacher efficacy. Method: One hundred and six prospective, 243 early childhood teachers and a total of 389 participants were involved in the study. Participants responded to the Turkish version of Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale (TTSES). TTSES also contains Student Engagement (SE), Instructional Strategies (IS) and Classroom Management (CM) subscales. Results: Findings from the study revealed that participants obtained moderately high scores on SE, IS, CM subscales and whole sense of teacher efficacy. It was also found that practicing teachers have a significantly higher sense of teacher efficacy than prospective teachers. Discussion and Conclusio: Findings revealed that Turkish earlychilhood prospective and experienced teachers have a moderately high sense of teacher efficacy. All experienced teachers receive significantly higher scores from teacher sense of efficacy scale than prospective teachers. This finding is consistent with the literature however steady increase in teacher efficacy with the years of teaching experience seems inconsistent with several studies. Therefore, conducing a teacher efficacy scale study which is specifically developed for early childhood educators, can provide better data.

This study examined the relationship between computer anxiety and computer self-efficacy of students and teachers in elementary and secondary schools. The sample included a total of 845 subjects from two private school systems in Turkey. The Oetting's Computer Anxiety Scale was used to measure computer anxiety whereas the Murphy's Computer Self-Efficacy Scale was used to measure computer self-efficacy of subjects. The results demonstrated that elementary students were less-anxious than secondary students; males had lower anxiety scores than females; and the difference between anxiety scores of students and teachers was not significant. However, students had higher self-efficacy scores than their teachers; elementary students were more self-efficient than secondary students; and males had higher computer self-efficacy scores than females. The correlation between the variables of computer anxiety and computer self-efficacy was moderate, negative, and significant.
