At the Faculty of Geography in Belgrade, within the Mathematical Geography course, a project «The Sun Shines for Everyone» was launched in 2013. At their first year of study, students mount sundials as pre-exam assignment in elementary or secondary schools they used to attend. In the period 2013–2018 over a hundred schools in Serbia received wall-mounted sundials designed in different ways. The assignment implied mounting of a sundial and presenting its use: explaining how it works and demonstrating to school teachers of various science subjects how to apply sundials in outdoor teaching. This report was presented at the IGU thematic conference «Practical Geography and XXI Century Challenges» (Moscow, the 6th June 2018).
