Kaarigar clinic is a gandhian rural business model, It creates micro entrepreneurs and enterprises in
rural areas, specially the women entrepreneurs. People who do not have formal education, resources
and business skills ever think to start their own business. Those running their own businesses face
difficulties to sustain. Unique part of Kaarigar clinic is to develop these artisans as entrepreneurs and
make them able to provide livelihood for co-workers so that they do not need to migrate to urban

60% of india’s population are below poverty line and struggling to earn daily wages. Unemployment
and Urbanization are two major burning issues in India. Rural people migrate to the urban in search
of livelihood. Due to massive migration we suffer other problems like over population, pollution, traffic
problems, water scarcity, slums, health and hygiene problems, anti social activities etc,

IX. CONCLUSION :
Cooperatives are pillars of rural development and overall economic growth. Since last many years it is
become unproductive due to several reasons. Now it’s time to think micro level. There are some
hindrances of cooperatives which need to cater in different way. Kaarigar Clinic would be the ideal
platform to cater the difficulties faced by cooperatives and micro enterprise. There should be at least
one Kaarigar Clinic in each village or cluster of villages, which would serve as common facility centre
for individual artisan, entrepreneurs, micro enterprise, rural cooperatives, SHG’s and youth clubs. In
active coordination with Kaarigar Clinic, each entity would be able to focus on their strength and
weaknesses and potentiality catch the market. They would be updated with latest markets trends and
technology.
Kaarigar Clinic will enhance their capability by providing professional services, which is very important
to do any kind of income generation activity in today’s world.
