The Mathematical Principles of Big Data Intelligence

Abstract

We are living in an age of trinity: big data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). This paper first introduces the characteristics of this age of trinity, and demonstrates Intelligent Big Data Intelligence and Intelligent Analytics as the core of the age of trinity with applications. Then it proposes a strategic framework of Big Data Intelligence. The framework examines intelligent Big Data Intelligence as a science, technology, system, analytics, service and management. Then it examines the mathematical foundations, theories and principles of intelligent big data analytics. The presentation also shows that Intelligent Big Data Analytics = AI + Big Data Analytics with applications. It presents several mathematical results for Big Data Intelligence based on mathematical logic, fuzzy logic, algebra and calculus.The approach proposed in the paper might facilitate the research and development of big data, intelligent big data analytics, intelligent business analytics and business intelligence as well as applied mathematics with their applications.
