Abstract
Said Abu Sa’eed Abdul-Mu’min is considered to be one of the most prominent leaders of
Al-Mohadeen who contributed to the settlement of Al-Mohadeen in Morocco and al-Andalusia
by his vital military, political and cultural role in this state. He is the son of the founder of the
country. He spent all his life trying to settle down the state by different means. He was well-
known by his military in various positions in Morocco and al-andalus in which he fought against
the Spanish kingdoms and the Islamic powers allied with them, winning and losing the wars
depending on the conditions in those positions. As far as the administration is concerned, he
ruled different provinces of the state, especially Ceuta, cordova, and granada in which he proved
to be able to govern and unite the lands of Al-Mohadeen State.
As far as the cultural field is concerned, Abu Sa’eed supervised the building campaigns
in the cities of al-Andalusia such as seville, badajoz, and Cordova. One of his major works was
the building of the City of Al-Fateh on the slope of Jabel-Tariq which was the headquarters of
the armies of Al-Mohadeen coming from Morocco to protect the country from the dangers of the
enemies around al-Andalusia.
