Abstract
he issue of corruption from the national issues, one of the main problems
facing Egypt in the current period, is located on the mass media a major
responsibility in the fight against corruption and to address this serious
phenomenon which form the subject of a vital and essential as it relates to
the interests of society and the reputation of the existing political system
and prestige.
It seeks to identify research on the role of television and radio in
inculcating a culture of transparency and fairness in the Egyptian society,
the fight against corruption in all its forms and manifestations.
The more important research problem because of the margin of increased
freedom enjoyed by Egyptian mass media in the light of the reform
policies, which gave the media boldness and courage in addressing many
of the issues of corruption.
This is the search of qualitative research, and adopted on a descriptive
research, which is based on the study and analysis of the theoretical
dimensions of the contents of the fight against corruption and prevention
from the perspective of the Egyptian thought, through reference to
sources, the researcher used this is rendered method analytical work and
chose the deliberate sample of media studies, which dealt with the issues
of corruption both available online or masters or phd or research
published in scientific journals and the court, data were collected the
search by means of the general observation.
The researcher found out the following results:
1 - revealed the results of the analysis of the content of the political
programs conversational programs and the Arab drama television serials
during the study period 2003 - 2015 of the following: - the most
important issues of corruption are: - the issues of social corruption -
economic corruption - Corruption civic and moral - political corruption -
Corruption businessmen behavioral corruption - fraud - the abuse of
authority career exploitation.
2 - The results revealed that the causes of corruption is: achieving
personal interests - the cause of nepotism favoritism - unemployment.
